Vacation of a lifetime!
What a wonderful week! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Villa on North Caicos. The villa was clean, well maintained and beautifully situated close to the beach, restaurant and grocery store. We loved having the beach pretty much to ourselves, although when we did have to share (smile) the locals were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this vacation spot for anyone who is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life and just wants to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Wow, this place is across the street from a great beach. Had fun snorkeling, kite surfing, beachcombing. We rented a car and made this place our home base for a few days while we toured North and Middle Caicos. The bikes at the villa were a nice touch, it was easy to get to the grocery store or Karen's restaurant, the Silver Palm. Loved the peace and quiet, this is far and away from the bustle of the all-inclusives on Providenciales.

Awesome Beach House
This remote condo was located in a small village on the beach. The location was fab as it was also close to restaurants and the grocery store. The house was also close to the old cotton plantation, which was amazing. The condo had great board games there, battle ship was a big hit. Bikes were also provided and they were great for touring the island. I was there with my aunt, Uncle and boyfriend and it did not feel crowded, the space was nice too. This condo is a fantastic getaway place for family and friends and I recommend it to anyone traveling to the Turks.

Sweet little secret
We wanted to get away from it all and this was the perfect place to be a recluse or hermit. We bought a bunch of groceries and settled in for a week. Walked the beach every day, rode bicycles around the neighborhood and grilled our dinner outside on the patio each evening. The only time we ventured out was for Sunday brunch at Silver Palm restaurant which was pretty nice after a week of solitude and cornflakes.

This clean, quiet, convenient location was perfect for our 5 days away from reality! If you are looking for a get-away that is not a 'run of the mill' tourist experience then this is for you! It is right across the road from a beach that goes for miles each way. We had the beach all to ourselves for the most part. Karen (property manager) was wonderful...she organized our taxi to and from the ferry and snorkelling gear rental. Car rentals are also easily accessible for day trips to Middle Caicos. A meal plan is also an option at the local Silver Palm Restaurant (recommended). If we ever have the chance to return to Turks and Caicos we would definitely go back to the Palmetto Villa.
