Description of the North Ferrisburg vacation cabin rental
Perfect for families or a romantic getaways for 2, you will LOVE this Log cabin! Enjoy the wooden swing with your loved ones, have a camp fire with the kids around the campfire ring. FREE firewood is always provided for our guests. This is a large log cabin, 2500 square feet. We are just 2 miles form the lake, with fishing, canoeing, boating, horseback riding, kayaking, and swiming available close by.
Hot Tub rental available, seats 7, many of our guests rave about sitting in the hot tub and watching the fantastic views. Hike our 56 acre property and enjoy Vermont nature's way. Our guests come back again and again because of the peaceful setting making you feel your away from it all yet your close to everything.

Area Information
Visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Company, a hit with the kids, or Shelburne Farms, an estate over 100 years old. Both are fabulous and fun. There are over 50 tourist attractions all very close to Jordan's Log Cabin. Burlington, Stowe, Middlebury, Lake Placid just some of the cities you can get to easily. Montreal is 2 hours North, New York City 5 1/2 hours, Boston 2 hours, Albany New York 2 hours.

Great house

This house was an excellent base of operations while in Vermont for our son's graduation from Middlebury College. It comfortably accommodated 5 adults with room for more. It is convenient to Middlebury and Burlington Airport. It provided a great space to relax and share meals when we were not out and about. We would recommend it to any family with a need to be in the Champlain Valley for a weekend or longer.

Thanksgiving memories that fulfilled a dream trip

It had been a dream of my mother-in-law for many years to stay at a log cabin in Vermont and celebrate Thanksgiving with her children and grandchildren and that dream was fulfilled at this cabin. What a great place to stay, very warm and cozy with enough ammenities and entertainment without making us feel like we can't escape the craziness of work and home. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, the views are spectacular of the mountains and the owners are just wonderful people. Easy to deal with and very kind. Our family stayed there on the recommendation of good friends of ours from last year who had family stay there during their family wedding. Our family was disappointed in the sleeping arrangements - she hadn't looked closely and had young children who she wasn't comfortable with in the loft up the ladder. They also didn't have a crib but brought a pack 'n play quickly. I think they thought they would have a crib - a week is a long time in a temp bed. They ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher soap. I thought the setting looked lovely, and my husband was inside and thought it was terrific.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Jordon’s Log Cabin for the first week of January 2010 and had the most amazing time. The cabin itself is stunning and there is so much to do. From the pool and air hockey tables, big screen TV with loads of movies to choose from, the piles of board games to play and the heaps of books and magazines to read, you could never say ‘I’m bored’. The peaceful tranquility of the home makes all your worries and burdens melt away within minutes of walking through the door. There is also a very romantic feel too with the hot tub on the patio and fireplace up on the loft. The location is perfect with nearby towns no more than 20 – 30 mins away. Very close by is the Starry Night Café that is an absolute must. Only a couple minutes drive away it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone who needs time away from the hustle and bustle. PS. My now Fiancé proposed to me in front of the fire place on our 2nd night there!

Hi, My Name Is Mrs.lisa Roux. My Husband Jon And I Stayed At This Beautiful Cabin The Week Of Oct 17th To The 24th. Our Wedding Anniversary Was The 21st Of That Same Week. Anyways, We Both Really Loved The Whole Cabin, Especially The Hot Tub.it Was Just Nice To Get Away. Also Nice To Do Things During The Day And Come Home At The End Of Our Adventures And Just Relax In The Hot Tub. The Whole Cabin Was Extremely Clean, Wich I Personally Loved, Lol, Being Aclean Freak Myself.the Weather Was Fantastic Too Except For The Drive Home, It Poured.we Were Both Very Happy With Choosing This Place In Vermont. Best Vacation Ever - with views you can't believe

Peace and quiet all within driving distance to shops, restaurants, and hiking. Big kitchen with everything needed to whip up delicious meals after a long day in the mountains. We will never forget the back porch that afforded us views of the sun dipping below the mountain tops. The thoughtful extras that fill the cabin made us feel right at home. We had three familes (9 people) staying at this beautiful log home. It was nice to come home to a home instead of 3 hotel rooms. Yet there was plenty of room. The home had something for everyone, the girls loved the loft upstairs, and boys (big and little) loved the entertainment room, and the mom's enjoyed the quiet, relaxing porch. It was a dream vacation home!!!!

My wife, baby, and I really enjoyed our week-long stay at the log cabin in 11/07. The house is nicely appointed, the movie/recreation room downstairs is fantastic for watching movies, and the hot tub with a view was excellent. The location of the cabin is also a plus, with Vergennes right down the road and Middlebury, Shelburne, and Burlington all within a half hour drive. I think it's important for prospective renters to know that sound travels quite easily between kitchen, living room, and all of the bedrooms (the movie/rec room is well soundproofed). However, it was no issue for us and the place was all ours. It's a very relaxing spot. I highly recommend it.
