Dee's Lake House is located in the Long Point Corporation private lake community. The area is suited to biking, walking, jogging, cross country skiing, and all the lake sports.
The New York ferry is 3 miles away and is a nice day trip to Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm, and Whiteface Mountain.
Parents of college bound students will enjoy staying on the lake while their children get settled in at the University of Vermont, Champlain College, St. Michael's College, Middlebury College, and Burlington College.
Shelburne Farms, the summer home of the Vanderbilts, is a fun visit including a summer concert and farm animal barn.

We had a nice time in Dee's house in October, seeing all of the fall foliage. We would love to return during the summer to enjoy the lake setting even more! It was a comfortable house and worked perfectly for our family. Thanks!

this was the 2nd summer we rented Dee's Lakehouse for a family get together & vacation. The house is clean, spacious & comfortable. Dee & Bill are responsive & helpful. This summer we had good weather & really enjoyed using the kayak & rowboat. It is also an excellent location for accessing activities & restaurants in Burlington & Middlebury. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing week on Lake Champlain!

Dee's house was perfect for my family of four and 80 yr. old dad. Lots of room for the 5 of us; clean and completely remodeled. The place has a really nice deck, BBQ, and a BIG yard, which was perfect for our family reunion with all our Vermonter cousins. Just steps to the water, the owners were super nice and made a special trip down in order to give us access to the Kayak. I regret not having more time there, we didn't get to visit all the places I wanted to see. But if you do go, make sure you visit the Shelburne Museum, just a few miles from the house. Thank so much to Bill and Dee!!
