The home is located 150' from the water in a quiet summer lake association.Remodeled for large or small groups that want room to relax.A large master bedroom(queen),guest bedroom 2nd floor(queen),1st floor bedroom(twins),2 bathrooms, gas fireplace, Satellite-TV,DVD player,Internet,books and games for the family, Living room with sunset views of the lake. This home is approx. 2000 sq ft with sweeping decks for outside parties and barbecues.

Kayak provided with chairs for the lake beach and floating toys for the kids.Tennis courts, walking trails, biking,boating. 250lb. Mooring available, Bring your Boat!. Dock. Close to Basin Harbor golf course.

Short drive to Burlington,Middlebury,and Lake Placid,N.Y.

Area Information

Dee's Lake House is located in the Long Point Corporation private lake community. The area is suited to biking, walking, jogging, cross country skiing, and all the lake sports.
The New York ferry is 3 miles away and is a nice day trip to Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm, and Whiteface Mountain.
Parents of college bound students will enjoy staying on the lake while their children get settled in at the University of Vermont, Champlain College, St. Michael's College, Middlebury College, and Burlington College.
Shelburne Farms, the summer home of the Vanderbilts, is a fun visit including a summer concert and farm animal barn.
The Champlain Valley is full of activities for all ages.

Wow!! What a great place to stay!

My family and I just enjoyed a week at Dee's lake house. This was a beautiful well- equipped house for our large party. Everyone felt like it was a home away from home! There was plenty to do and convnient to many places. What a way to end each day on vacation gazing upon amazing sunsets just steps away every night! Dee's lake house is well worth your time and money!

Dee's lake house

We had a great time staying at Dee's lake house. There were five of us guys for a fishing trip. Point Bay Mairna was close as we have a large boat and rented boat slip for the boat. Shopping is close buy as well as good places to go for dinner. The lake house is very comfortable we all had our own bed. Having a full bath upstairs and down was a big help. It was all very neat and clean. We all loved it and are planning on going back next year.

lovely convenient spot on the lake

this was the 2nd summer we rented Dee's Lakehouse for a family get together & vacation. The house is clean, spacious & comfortable. Dee & Bill are responsive & helpful. This summer we had good weather & really enjoyed using the kayak & rowboat. It is also an excellent location for accessing activities & restaurants in Burlington & Middlebury. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing week on Lake Champlain!

Great place!

Dee's house was perfect for my family of four and 80 yr. old dad. Lots of room for the 5 of us; clean and completely remodeled. The place has a really nice deck, BBQ, and a BIG yard, which was perfect for our family reunion with all our Vermonter cousins. Just steps to the water, the owners were super nice and made a special trip down in order to give us access to the Kayak. I regret not having more time there, we didn't get to visit all the places I wanted to see. But if you do go, make sure you visit the Shelburne Museum, just a few miles from the house. Thank so much to Bill and Dee!!
