Description of the North Myrtle Beach vacation condo rental

Barefoot Resort is a 2300 acre, 5 star resort with oodles of trees, flowers, lawns, 14 pools, hot tub, walking paths, yacht club and golf courses BUT is only a quiet 7 minute drive to beach from front gates. You do not need to play golf to enjoy this resort. The two bedroom two bath 1100 sq ft condo is located in Wedgewood section. The screened balcony and master bedroom overlook the 15th fairway of Greg Norman course. Enjoy breakfast on the private balcony with morning sun. The kitchen, front door and second bedroom look to the pool and ponds. Master bedroom has a new king bed mattress and box spring Jan 13 with ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. Plenty of drawers, TV cabinet and absolute privacy. Bedroom two has two twin beds that can be put together to form a king bed. Second washroom, linen closet, washer dryer are at this end of the condo. Queen sofa bed in living room, thus total sleeping capacity is 6. New 32 inch tv and DVD in living room, 22 inch in master and 15 inch in second bedroom. Kitchen is open and well stocked with everything for cooking - full oven, dishwasher, full fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc. A new washer and dryer stackable. Everything is there right down to 100 magazines. Our Wedgewood pool is generous in size with lounge chairs, tables umbrellas and has sun right to sunset. I encourage everyone to go to the North Tower pool and hottub, the largest salt water pool in SC. From here you can see the yacht club, intracoastal waterway with boat activity. Our section of beach is called Windy Hills Beach (a subsection of North Myrtle Beach). It is flat, clean, wide, easy to walk along, has summer lifeguards, new free 80 car parking lots, beach chair rentals, and jet ski and banana boat rentals. Barefoot Resort is situated in an upscale secure part of North Myrtle Beach. The resort is located directly behind Barefoot Landing where you can find dining, shopping and entertainment including House of Blues and Alabama Theatre home to the famous Alabama group. Broadway on the Beach is 15 min south, Tanger Outlet Mall is 5 min south, new Bi Lo grocery at our entrance. Staying inside Barefoot Resort means you have peace and quiet yet everything you need is out front on highway 17. We love kids and have basketball volleyball and tennis courts near pool.

Linens include 2 mattress protectors, fitted flat sheets, pillows, cotton thermal blankets, hand face bath towels. Comforters in the winter
Wireless internet, local phone calling with voicemail, condo located on second floor of three storey building, no elevators, stair access only, parking is abundant and can park right in front of buildings. Pool is 300 ft away. Beach is 1 mile drive from front gates of resort with free beach parking in 80 car lot courtesy of North Myrtle Beach. Parking maps provided by owner in condo.
CONDO has been NON SMOKING since built - no exceptions
CONDO is no pet policy and strictly enforced by Home Owners Assocation. Pets you see belong to owners. Condo is large at 1100 sq ft, some condos are only 500 to 600 sq ft. Sept 2009 repainted with taupes and sage green. Furniture is southwestern decor. New Air conditioner and microwave 2012, new king mattress box spring Jan 2013
Beach shuttle bus runs hourly in high and mid season for renters and owners

Other Fees: $70 - departure housekeeping and linen laundry (after clients leave) Rates - I encourage everyone to look and compare our prices. I do it all the time. Renting from an owner should save you a considerable amount of money. I checked rental company Condo World rates for 2013 and discovered that they are charging $1400 for a summer week - wow. My view is I'd rather charge a fair lower rate and be full all year, then charge too much and sit empty. I am not able to provide daily maid service

A:The resort is massive 2300 acres, from the front gates it is 1 mile drive, we are .5 mi to gates. Drive is peaceful, beautiful, lots of owners drive their golf carts, some even jog it. Parking new 80 car lot free courtesy of City of North Myrtle. I have parking maps in condo. There are several public washrooms scattered along beach

Q:How far is pool?

A:We have 14 pools inside Barefoot Resort. Our Wedgewood pool is 300 ft away, loungers, chair, tables umbrellas, washrooms. Charcoal BBQ and patio beside pool. So close you can run back from food and drinks easily. Pool never overcrowded.
