Description of the North Myrtle Beach vacation condo rental

Our Oceanfront Condo at The Avista Resort in North Myrtle Beach is a great place to stay. The location's ideal in the Ocean Drive section of town, near multiple beach clubs where Carolina shag dancing is popular..

The Avista Resort is an oceanfront landmark. Its design is such that it curves toward the Atlantic Ocean, giving each unit a terrific view of the vast seascape. A couple or a family reunion of 10 people will be comfortable at our two-bedroom, two-bath, oceanfront condo.

The condo features all the creature comforts of home like:
A full kitchen with a dishwasher
coffee maker,blender,toaster, microwave
a washer and dryer.

You can make it a movie night in the comfort of your own oceanfront condo with 3 televisions and dvd players.Free Netflix on Livingroom blu-ray disc player.

We have a PC connected to the high-speed DSL Internet. WI~Fi is free and available throughout the resort.

Other on-site amenities like a Full Service Restaurant, Poolside Grill, Treetop Lounge and In-Room Dining. There is also is a fitness center available with eliptical mahines,treadmills,stationary bikes,dumbells,weight machines and benches.There are televisions in the fitness center and a great view of ocean drive.

Check out the sparkling blue swimming pools.
Oceanfront Sundeck features include:
3 pools[1 indoor],2 lazy rivers[1 indoor],
kiddy pool and 3 hot tubs[1 indoor].

Everyone in the family will love the lazy river where they can effortlessly float and bob their way around a winding stream.

Area Information

With such a watery playground at Avista Resort, you might find it difficult to leave the oceanfront setting for Myrtle Beach area amusements, such as live theatre entertainment, championship golf courses and Sea Doo rentals, all of which are in close proximity to Avista Resort.Cherry grove fishing pier is only a couple miles away and is a nice stroll down the beach.

McLean park is 2 blocks from the corner of OCEAN DRIVE and MAIN ST.There are tennis courts,a baseball diamond,an awesome kids playground,and a covered picinic area!

If you would like to hit a few night spots, many are within walking distance, taxi cabs are plentiful and reasonably priced. There are many days I don't use the car! If you forget something, there's also a super Wal-Mart within a mile .

Beautiful Ocean View

The condo was exactly as it was described and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It also was in a perfect location with several bars and shops nearby! It was also easy to check in and check out of. I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Great vacation

The condo was exactly like the owner described it. The views are beautiful, the hot tubs are clean and hot, all the people we met that worked at the Avista were wonderful and the beach was amazing. All in all, it was a perfect spot to spend a week. The condo was clean, and the two bedrooms were plenty big enough. I would go back again!

The best girls out weekend experience I have ever had and I have been going to North Myrtle Beach for over 50 years. We loved our our 2 bedroom GNS condo because it had no windows and because it was so quiet!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this condo in early Sept.2009. We have stayed at the Avista many times before, and this resort is top notch. The owner of the unit is absolutely great to deal with. He answered all our questions and was available to us should we have had and problems; We however did not. The transaction was smooth, simple, and painless. When we arrived, check in was a snap, and the room was neat, clean, and orderly. Everything in the room was as described. There is a full size kitchen, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Everything worked well. There were TV's in every room, and I had no problem hooking up to the wireless internet on my laptop. We had a total of 3 adults and 2 children in this room, and had tons of space! The pools were great, the hotubs were great, and you can't beat the ocean view from the balcony. The Avista is minutes away from the "strip" wich is full of restaurants, shops, Bare Foot Landing, etc. There is even a super Walmart a mile or two away if you need groceries, or forgot something. This unit is the same exact 2 bedroom type unit you can book through the resort! You will get the same exact type room, only you'll pay hundreds more for the week!! We have rented though the resort many times, and this room was by far nicer, and cost less than others we booked through the resort in past years. My family and I had a great time at the condo over Spring Break. The location was wonderful, the unit outstanding, and the view of the ocean every morning was second to none. The property was just as shown in the photos. The entire property was well maintained and incredibly clean. The condo was also very close to restaurants and malls making picking up dinner or just snacks for the day a breeze. Covered parking was an added bonus I had not expected. The owner was very helpful and available to answer questions. We enjoyed ourselves so well we are already planning to stay again this year. Thanks for the great stress free vacation!

Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We loved our February vacation at this condo. It was clean and neat and looked just like the pictures. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The elevator is just a few feet away from the condo which made it so convenient. We were pleased with the price. Everything else we checked was so much more expensive. There is a lot to do within walking distance and when we felt like it we could drive down the strip to top-notch restaurants and visit local attractions. We will come back to this condo every chance we get.

Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We stayed at this unit in March and it was absolutely perfect.. from the balcony with bright morning sun to the resturaunt to the hot tub. Everything was super clean and first class. The rental process is smooth right down to the linen rentals waiting inside when we arrived.. I will most defiantely be back.
