Waters Edge is an incredible villa overlooking a spectacular pink sand beach in North Palmetto Point Eleuthera.

The house offers the ultimate privacy for couples or families, with 2 master suites with one on each side of the great room. Each has sliding glass doors opening to a deck that overlooks a flowering garden and a shimmering turquoise blue sea beyond Stroll out to the porche and relax at the teak dining table where you can watch the hummingbirds and bananaquits flit around the gardens around the house.

Walk through the garden to the fabulous dune deck overlooking the gorgeous, deserted pink sand beach, where sandpipers and sand crabs outnumber people. Snorkeling and swimming are just steps away in the clear blue waters teeming with coral reefs and brilliantly colored tropical fish.

Waters Edge invites privacy, romance and adventure to those looking to get away from it all.

Area Information

Waters Edge Villa is located on upscale Banks Road in North Palmetto Point about 8 miles south of Governors Harbour.

North and South Palmetto Point are home to several excellent restaurants as well as the Island Farm where a wide selection of seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs can be purchased.

There are several smaller grocery stores in North Palmetto Point and South Palmetto Point.

Historic, Governors Harbour is the main center of commerce for groceries, banking and internet access at the restored colonial library. Eleuthera is known for its many beautiful and isolated beaches, great bonefishing, crystal clear water and friendly people.

Quite Island retreat

People on the island were fantastic, open and friendly. House was remotely located and quiet, it was like our own beach. The house was small but sufficient for simple living. The rest of the island is undeveloped with pristine beaches and opportunities to snorkle everywhere. Each day we would go to another beach to explore and enjoy the sun. We saw a total of ~30 people during the week on all of the beaches we went to, GREAT! The water was a bit cool but still could swim with no issues, the daytime temps were around 78F for highs. On the Atlantic side there was a constant onshore breeze which could be quite strong and would suggest for outside living going to the Carribean side. Would go back in a minute, excellent for relaxing.

Owner's reply:

Waters Edge is about 1400 square feet, with two generous size queen master suites, with a large great room/kitchen in between. There is a large front porch and a smaller back porch. The wind is sporadic. During the late Spring into the Fall, it helps keep the house cool. It can be stronger in the winter, but does subside depending on the jet stream. Can't wait for our guests to return, as we are constantly updating.

Amazing Holiday

Waters edge villa is a wonderful home from home. Every detail has been thought about to make your stay as comfortable as possible and the location is just beautiful, with the beach just seconds away. Snorkelling heaven! We had an amazing holiday : the island, the people, the house. But a special mention must go to the owners Jim and Holly who, despite being in Chicago, were there on the end of the phone when we needed them. Thank you. Foster Family, England.
