Very nicely decorated and well kept. The private pool is a real plus and was generally warm with cool conditions. Close t to shopping , baseball stadium and other attractions. Enjoyed our stay and plan to be back

Our Floridia vacation for 2010

We spent our vacation from the last week in November to the 3rd week in December at this very nice home in North Port. The first week was in the 80's every day we were able to enjoy the pool every day. Then the weather turned very cold by Florida standards so no more pool. We enjoyed the variety of birds and wildlife we saw by the canal. The cold weather did a number on many of the plants, especially the banana trees. The home was very comfortable, a true "home away from home".

Two Month Stay

We spent February and March of 2010 at this North Port home. The location is easy access to the necessary shopping, restaurants and Interstate-75 for travel to other points of interest in the surrounding areas. The layout and furnishings of the home were confortable for an extended stay. The pool is solar heated so with some consistant days of good weather you are able to swim in comfort (80 and above). It is obvious the owner takes a great deal of interest, pride and hard work into the landscaping, unfortunately the Winter of 2010 was not kind to the local vegitation. Internet access was not provided at the home but could be obtained at the local library. The highlight of this home is the "quiet" and "privacy". There are no side neighbours and only the canal and vegitation at the rear so you were not disturbed AT ALL!!!
