Description of the North Stratford vacation home rental

Hathaway's of Stratford is a lovely and unique Queen Anne vacation rental property that caters to large groups and family reunions. We can easily handle parties up to seventeen, with comfortable bedrooms for everyone. No need for sleeper sofas here, we currently have seven bedrooms (including one wheelchair accessible)with brand new queen or full sized mattresses, and an attic suite with three twins that the kids or teens will love (if you can pry them away from the complimentary candy jars!). With any rental rate, you also have use of the entire first floor common areas, including our state of the art kitchen, geared towards a gourmet chef's talents, the fully furnished dining room, the lounge for relaxing by the fire, and the welcoming common room with its comfortable chairs. We also have plenty of bathrooms (6.5), so no one has to wait in line. No other home in the North Country can offer this much freedom and value with a rental. The house is yours alone and we don't "pop in" to check on you. At Hathaway's of Stratford, we belieive that our guests are most comfortable without the owners around, and that is why we are truly, your home away from home. If however, you prefer the bed and breakfast type of vacation, we can handle that as well.

Area Description

We are located right off Route 3, about halfway between Colebrook and Lancaster. Approximately one mile from the Connecticut River and the Vermont/NH border. Mountain veiws from many windows. Semi private location, on two acres.
