Description of the North Topsail Beach vacation home rental

Oceanfront Cottage, single family home in quiet North Topsail Beach NC. Rents Saturday - Saturday in peak season. Two night minimum in off-peak season.

Now booking Fall-Winter 2009-2010 either by the week, weeks or month. We are also taking reservations for summer 2010. Email for availability.

This 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage is ideal for a small family or for 2 couples to share. Pets must be preapproved...an additional $100 pet deposit will be required.

IMAGINE...sipping your morning coffee with your favorite book, while watching the dolphins romp in the surf (they really DO!) and the pelicans soar overhead. Let the kids look for shark’s teeth while you keep an eye on them right from the deck.

If your idea of a perfect vacation is REST AND RELAXATION at the beach, then this is the vacation for you. This is NOT a fast-paced, crowded, loud beach community. It is more like a very well kept secret! SHHHHHHH!!!

Leave your jacket and tie at home...not required anywhere on the island. Actually, if you pack more than a few good books, your bathing suit and flip-flops, you've probably over-packed!

We are the owners of this cottage. We are not an agency. There are ABSOLUTLEY NO HIDDEN FEES! Renter pays lease amount and a $200 REFUNDABLE security deposit. Deposit is returned within 14 days of your lease end date, assuming no damages beyond reasonable wear and tear. Renter must sign and return a lease agreement (we will email it to you).

COTTAGE IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING INSIDE!!!

All you need to bring are linens and personal care items. Guests are also responsible for cleaning the cottage prior to departure. This helps keep your costs down.

Area Description

Beautiful pristine and uncrowded beaches on this barrier island just 35 minutes from ILM (Wilmington NC) and 20 minutes from Jacksonville NC (Camp LeJeune Marine Corps Base).

Crossing the swing bridge onto the island will take you back in time to the beach days you remember as a child. Somehow the island has managed to defy time and keep it's "olden-day" charm.

Definitely NOT a touristy place. If you're looking for night-life, this is NOT the place for you.

If you're looking for BEACH with lots of QUIET...this IS the place to come to.

Perfect for 2!, October 1, 2009

This two bedroom cottage was the perfect space for my husband and I to get away for a few days. The unobstructed view of the ocean, from the top deck overlook was tremendous. The beach was almost private as not many people were using the beach this time of year. The water temperature was perfect for swimming and the dolphins thought so too! We've never seen so many! Thanks for our September getaway!
