Description of the North Venice vacation home rental

This beautifully furnished 3-bedroom vacation home with private pool is located on the 4th hole of the Audubon International Gold Signature 18-hole Championship Golf Course, designed by a renowned golf course architect, in the gated community of the Venetian Golf and River Club in North Venice.

Just a five minute drive to Gulf Coast beaches, this 2095 square foot home built in 2005 has recently been remodeled with all new furniture and furnishings.

The gourmet kitchen boasts granite counter tops, a gas stove and other high-end appliances. Eat at the bar in the kitchen, in the dining room, or out by the pool in the screened in lanai that looks onto the fairway.

From the master bedroom with King bed, you also get to enjoy the beautiful golf course view that sets this home apart. The master suite includes his and her basins, large spa bath and separate shower in the bathroom; two walk in closets; a top-of-the-line mattress; flat screen TV; and access to the pool.

The second bedroom includes a Queen bed, golf view and plenty of closet space. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is kid-friendly with optional Pirate and Princess comforter sets.

The family room is equipped with a 42" 1080p flat-screen TV with DVD player and HD cable programming. The living room has a writing desk and the house has high-speed internet with wireless access.

The laundry room includes a new washer and dryer.

Area Description

With this home, it's all about the lifestyle. The Venetian Golf & River Club offer golf, tennis, fitness classes, swimming (two pools at the Club house) and a 70-acre nature park located along the Myakka River.

There are also plenty of social activities to partake in including fine dining, happy hours, wine tastings and other themed events.

Just minutes from I-75, The Venetian Golf & River Club is close to Gulf Coast beaches (Siesta key, St Armands, Venice and Nokomis), downtown Venice, shopping and more. Enjoy the Sarasota Opera, Sarasota Ballet, the Ringling Museum, and the Selby Botanical Gardens.

Nearby airports include Sarasota (27 minutes), Tampa/St. Pete (1 hour) and Orlando (2 hours).

Vacation Rental Policies

Required Stay: 2 month minimum stay
Lodging Tax: 11%
Deposits: A $2,500 security deposit is required to hold the property. The deposit is required and will be returned within 10 days of departure assuming no damages. Full payment of the entire stay is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Other Fees: Not included within the Rental Rates are: Golf Green fees, Tourist Tax (11%), departure cleaning fee ($150 or $75/week), utilities, River Club Amenities Transfer ($175). For cancellations more than 30 days before arrival there is a fee of $200 that will be deducted from the security deposit. There are no refunds for cancellations within 30 days of arrival. Other fees may apply.

The owners of this property are to be congratulated on the beautiful presentation, from the tasteful interior decor, modern comfortable furniture/furnishings, style and convenient layout. We enjoyed the beautiful outlook over the golf course which can be viewed from most rooms in the house, even while swimming in the pool. The facilities offered at the Clubhouse (a short drive away); are very user friendly. The location is very convenient, close to I-75, an easy drive to shopping, restaurants, beaches and other local attractions; such as Shelby Gardens and the extensive John and Mabel Ringling Estate. We can recommend the Columbia Restaurant at St Amands, great food and a delightful area for a walk after! It was wonderful, we can't wait to go back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at 274 Montelluna Dr; the house was very lovely with all the comforts of home and many great extras. The house had everything including a screened in swimming pool & patio area, wireless Internet access, so we were able to look up everything we need to know for the beach, weather, as well as take-out food options. Once we settled into the home, which had plenty of storage, perfect kitchen and comfortable living room, we had everything we could have asked for. Having a washer and dryer was key! The grounds were beautiful and well kept. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Florida getaway.
