Oceanfront Oceanview Beach block 3 bedroom condo

I am pleased to report we had no damage from superstorm Sandy.

If you are looking for a sardine can to pack lots of people in, this is NOT it; 6 people maximum. No pets. No smoking inside. If you are looking for a party shack, this is NOT for you. This is not an investment property, this is our summer home, we only rent a few weeks a year to help cover taxes, etc. If you enjoy the shore, the view, are responsible, expect nice accommodations with more than average amenities, this is for you. Friday to Friday weekly rental preferred.

Unit 9 of East Island Condominiums is a two story condo situated on the second and third floors. The lower floor which is the second floor features a rear deck, kitchen, dining and a large front deck. The rear deck is roof covered for outside storage of provided beach chairs (5+2 kids), umbrellas, boogie boards (6) and bicycles (3). The well lit kitchen features all the essentials including a full size gas range with oven and broiler, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink with garbage disposal, large microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, utensils, plates, silverware, pots, pans, condiments, etc. All that is needed to make the gourmet dinner including the wine glasses and corkscrew if you like! New last year, two bar stools for new bar height counter. The dining area features a ceiling fan, large dining table with extension and six chairs. There is also a small cove with bookcase, AM/FM CD player with CDs, books, games, binoculars, menus, etc. Aside the bookcase is a small table with an amusement slot machine. There is a cable 42” plasma HDTV on a swivel wall mount that allows limited viewing from the deck. Finally, the best room on the lower floor is outside the sliding glass door, the lower deck. This is a relatively large deck, relatively private with walls between it and the neighboring decks. It is under the cover of the upper deck so is a respite in the rain or from some of the sun. It features four comfy high back swivel bar stools and a small high table, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dolphin watching as the ocean and beach is across the parking lot and JFK Boulevard.

The upper or third floor is accessed straight up the stairs from the entrance or kitchen area. The master features a 4 poster queen bed, nightstands, a chair, clothes tree, dresser, ceiling fan, AM/FM clock radio, and private full bathroom with tub/shower and vanity sink. You can lie in bed and see the beach and ocean through the upper deck door. A 32” cable HDTV and BluRay/DVD player is wall mounted on a swivel mount so it can be turned toward the upper deck. Through the outside door from the master is again the best “room” of all, the upper deck. Because of the added height, the view of the beach and ocean is even better than the lower deck; you can watch your kids on the beach from here. However, it is less private and smaller but offers more sun as it has no roof. The Friday night fireworks are visible from the deck. There are two comfortable high back swivel bar stools and a couple smaller stools. With the master bedroom TV swiveled a little, you can catch the score or that Rollins, Utley, Howard double play! The bunk bedroom is really intended for the kids and has bunk beds, chest of drawers, a rattan chair and fan. There is a large closet with some kites, toys and children’s books. The wicker room has two wicker single beds that many people push together making essentially a king size bed. There is a rattan chair, wicker nightstands, lamps, AM/FM clock radio, and ceiling fan; large walk in closet with a wicker dresser (in the closet), and an electronic safe for your valuables. The common bathroom is accessed from the wicker room or the living room with each door lockable for privacy. It is a full bathroom with a tub/shower and vanity sink with a hair dryer stored. The living room has an entertainment center with 32” cable TV, books and games. There is a DVD player and DVDs, a VCR and tapes, AM/FM radio cassette player, ceiling fan, leather sectional and sturdy stone end and coffee tables.

Off street parking is provided for two cars in tandem. There is a laundry closet with a washer/dryer stack, small ironing board, and iron. Also there is a telescope, metal detector, binoculars, scooters, games, cards, books, magazines, guides, restaurant menus, extra pillows, blankets and other items throughout for your use. No smoking in the unit but smoking is allowed on either deck or outside the entrance door which is under roof, ashtrays are provided. No pets, no exceptions. Bring your bed linens, towels, paper products, food, drink, personal items and time to relax.

North Wildwood is more refined and quieter than Wildwood yet Wildwood, Morey’s Pier & waterpark are just a walk or tram ride away. It has some nice bars and eateries and the best fine dining in South Jersey is just down the road in Cape May. North Wildwood does a fine job with their beaches, streets and municipal services and there are no beach tags required. In season, there are lifeguards at the end of each numbered avenue, which are spaced close together. 11th Avenue and JFK Boulevard is a great location in North Wildwood. The surfer beach is at 12th Avenue, so you can watch them but they will not interfere with your bathing pleasure. You can’t get much closer to the beach and ocean on the island. The boardwalk starts just a few blocks down, so it is easily accessible but without the traffic and commotion of being on it. The best sandwich shop (also a corner grocery) in North Wildwood is two small blocks away. The outside theater is about 10 small blocks away on 2nd Avenue. The various North Wildwood festivals usually take place around old New Jersey Avenue near 2nd about 15 blocks away.
