Hereford Lighthouse - built in 1874 and is one of the most unusual lighthouses in New Jersey
When you enter Wildwood from Exit 6 off the Garden State Parkway, you come directly into North Wildwood. Anglesea is the first area of the city of North Wildwood and hosts a lot of its heritage. The Hereford Lighthouse and Coast Guard Station is situated here.
North Wildwood has one elementary school - the Margaret Mace Elementary School (K-8) - 1201 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood. It also is home to the Wildwood Catholic High School at 15th and New Jersey Avenue.
North Wildwood is known for its big, clean and free beaches and claims to be "New Jersey's best sport beach". It was the first resort to have a beach tram that carries beachgoers from the street to the shore line. Vacationers can enjoy not only its beaches but its great boardwalk. North Wildwood ends at 26th Avenue.
At night you can walk the boards or listen to oldies music at the dockside, visit the clubs for rock and roll or just go and sing-a-long. North Wildwood is a great place to live and visit.

We were 5 adults staying in this very neat condo. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. Although, there was not a dining room, the counter top with its 6 seats was quite sufficient. The unit is very close to the beach, you cross one street and your feet are in the sand !
