Waterfront cottage located on tranquil Lucas Pond in Northwood, NH. Fishing season opens April 24th on this trout stocked pond. Only 1.5 hours from Boston, this house includes private beach, 20 ft. dock, oversized outdoor deck with gas grill, paddle boat, fire pit and screened in porch overlooking water. Cottage has 3 bedrooms in the main house and a detached bunk house that can accomodate more. This is a great place for a family vacation. No need to pack the car for a trip to the beach, all you need to do is open the back door! Catch fish right from the dock. If you are looking for peace and quite you found it. Less than a mile from route 4 and the famous "antique alley", 30 minutes to Concord n.h., 20 minutes to Deerfield Fair and 35-40 to minutes to the ocean in Portsmouth.

It;s the best of both world,peace and quiet and only a 2 minute drive to Hannaford Supermarket and minutes to Dunkin Donuts for a morning coffee run.

The home was perfect, rustic, yet all the comforts of home. Great fishing right off the dock. Water was perfect temperature for the kids, who enjoyed the entire week immensely. Bunk house was a great retreat for the kids to have their own privacy. Bagpipes playing "Amazing Grace" was a nice touch as well. Very relaxing vacation, screen porch & deck was where we spent most of our time when we weren't in the water. Highly recommended property!
