Vacation Rental Description

We have a home overlooking Dugualla Bay that sleeps 7 or more people. This is where the Whidbey Naval Air Station fly their planes over and is really a site. On clear days you can see Mt. Baker and other surrounding areas. There are eagles flying over not to mention all the other wildlife. We are 5 minutes from Deception Pass and 5 minutes from town (Oak Harbor). This is a quiet neighborhood so we expect quiet guests. We will except pets with a deposit, depending on their behavior. The property sits on an acre that is wooded in the back. There is a deck off the back with a BBQ and a deck off the front with the view that is enclosed with a nice patio table and chairs. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a full, and one with a full and a twin. There is more room downstairs for an airbed, etc. There is a full kitchen that is fully equipped, a dining room, living room and family room downstairs. There is a TV in the living room where you can watch DVD's. We have a woodstove downstairs and a fireplace upstairs, but there is forced air heat.

Please ask about the dates you want even though they may be reserved. Some of them are reserved for cleaning time.

Area Description

Lots to do on Whidbey Island! You can walk or drive down to the beach and lots of walking in the surrounding neighborhoods with a great view. Deception Pass State Park has lots to offer, go watch the sun set at West Beach or even go into town to Windjammer Beach where they have the big 4th of July fireworks, parade and other events throughout the year. There are local farms, wineries and markets.

Reviews for this vacation home rental in Oak Harbor, Washington

 WHAT A GREAT PLACE, November 21, 2008
By Martin Baumhoff (Sandwich, MA)
We stayed in this home with our large family for a Thanksgiving family get together. It was the best. We had room to sit and visit with each other and for the children to play. The area is beautiful and there was so much to do. Even so we really spent most of our time enjoying each other in this spacious house.

Breath taking views!!!, September 17, 2008
By Ruth (Pacific, Washington)
We stayed there and the view from the front deck is just breath taking, you want to watch the sun set in the evening and wake up to see it rise in the morning. It's quiet and peaceful and there's allot to do in town or at the beach. We will definatly return!
