Description of the Oak Island vacation home rental

This 4 bedroom island cottage is beautifully furnished and fully decorated which will make your vacation one of the most memorable ones. Close to many activities like fishing, crabbing, walking, boat access, golf courses, restaurants and groceries. There is a covered parking area for your cars. The home is equipped with TV, DVD and VCR Players in all bedrooms and living room as well as ceiling Fans in living room and all bedrooms room. A multipurpose bedroom for kids equipped with a queen sleep sofa and plenty of other amenities. This cottage has 1 K, 2 Qs with pillow top mattresses for a good nights sleep. Enjoy your favorite foods with your family and have a cook out on the gas grill, plenty of outdoor seating.

Area Information

Location! Location! Location!
This lovely cottage is conveniently located...intercoastal waterwa / fishing pier is only a few steps away. Rent a golf cart and spend a day at the ocean, less than 5 minutes up the street, also only 4 streets up to the public boat access - for all you boaters and fishermen. Surrounded by great restaurants for entire family! Only a couple blocks away from Food Loin, putt putt golf for the little ones. Bicycle, golf cart etc rentals just up the street. Also enjoy our near by State Park, in walking distance.

A must, is a trip to Baldhead Island. The only way to get there is by fairy. You may wish to rent a golf cart for the day and explore the Island, or enjoy strolling through the small quiant shops. Be sure to check out the light house, its awesome!

How bout taking the fairy (cars allowed) for a ride across the river to Carolina Beach, lots to do there also. While you're in the area take a tour to downtown Wilmington, don't miss touring the USS Battleship NC.

our grandson's wedding on the beach on oak island

This was the ideal place for us to stay- we shared it with our son-Father of the groom and could not have asked for more perfect spot. It was very tastefully decorated- had everything we needed or could possibly want to entertain our grandchildren and new granddaughter and was nicely located for sightseeing and visiting the area. We plan to return next Summer to visit with the kids and catch the Summer season. Julia was a very pleasant contact and very helpful with information regarding our stay.

Memories Made at Oak Island

The house was amazing. Perfect location to all restaurants, grocery store, and shopping. And a short drive to the beach! Our family had a fabulous time! Our family had not visited in about 5 years and it was great to see the island again. The cottage was very cozy and well equipped for all our needs. The beds were extremely comfortable. The decor was perfect for a restful vacation. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the sun porch and drinks in the later afternoon. I am glad we had the opportunity to vacatoin at Julia's hme. She was very plesant when we were making our reservations, and helped me coordinate all the details for our trip. We will definately be back to her place in the future. "Girls Time Together"

I was very pleased with the condo. It was a place to make you feel so comfortable and at home with all of the accomodations, space for togetherness or being in private. I want to compliment Julia for her taste in decorating. If the opportunity comes around again for such vacation I will the first to agree to return to "Seas The Moment" in Oak Island, North Carolina. The location was great. In case Julia is interested in changing the color scheme, I would say a light green/white, a lavender/white and/or tan/white -(for males) I must say Julia has a very beautiful and friendly spirit.
