Another Great week at Caswell beach Oak Island, NC

This is 13 years now that the whole family (see picture) has vacationed at Caswell beach renting several of the Condo�s at Oak Island Villa�s. Staying in the Condo�s provides the best of both worlds, you have the ocean for the kids (and kids at heart) to play in and ride the waves and yet a very nice pool to swim in. Caswell beach is the perfect place for peace and quiet at the beach. It is also a refuge for the sea turtles and we got to see several nest hatch during our stay. Throughout the week our family enjoyed so many things; we got to watch some of the filming of two movies that are being filmed on Oak Island and nearby South Port, some of the guys golfed just across the highway, some took a nearby ferry to Fort Fisher where there is also a very nice Aquarium. Some visited the light house, shops and spa�s, some ventured to Myrtle Beach for an evening at �Bare Foot Landing� and a show. And all enjoyed the beach and beautiful sunsets. I must say we usually stay in a different Condo each year as they are all basically the same floor plan etc. However this is one of the best I have ever rented (I have already booked it for next year). It not only provides a beautiful view of the Ocean, it is very nicely decorated and so clean it stands out from most of the others. The owners, Joe and Terri are wonderful people who are truly concerned that you have a good time they do all they can to make your vacation more enjoyable. For example I mentioned in an email early in the spring that one of the things I used while on vacation was a crockpot for BBQ and spaghetti sauce while on vacation and when they visited a little later they got one and put in the condo. Now how often do you find that????? And when we arrived we got a phone call from Terri to make sure we had a safe trip and that the condo was ok and that we had everything we needed. Little things like this go a long way in my book. The kitchen is well equipped for those who wish to cook instead of eat out. For those who don�t want to cook there is a list of very nice restaurants in the area provided. I would highly recommend this Condo to anyone vacationing in this area�.I know we will be back next JULY.

Sweet Vacation!

There are many words I could use to describe our 4th of July beach vacation, but SWEET is the word I will expound on. I Googled it: 1) Sweet- Something that is awesome—as in, “Every morning, I had the sweetest view of the ocean from my bedroom balcony!” 2) Sweet - An intensive used to express satisfaction, acceptance, pleasure, excellence, exaltation, approval, awe, or reverence. When used individually, the level of satisfaction expressed is most often directly proportionate to the duration of the vowel sound—as in “That was THE SWEEEEEEEEEEEETEST week at the beach! Sun EVERY day, full moon, one incredible lightning storm late one afternoon, cool ocean breezes, fun water football games, tides timed perfectly for our-on-the beach schedule, relaxing afternoon pool time, nice morning bike rides and amazing waves for body surfing!” 3) Sweet - nice, pleasant, endearing, likable, non-threatening—as in, “That is the sweetest little beach condo—so comfortable, cozy and safe.” 4) Sweet – Terri and Joe. Okay, this one wasn’t on Google. :) Thanks, Terri and Joe for taking such good care of us—starting from the moment we inquired about your place. We look forward to next summer!

Fantastic View

Unit 708 has an awesome view of the ocean from the living room/dining room and master bedroom. The condo was very comfortable and well furnished. With our 2 grandikids in tow, the washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. We never turned on the air but rather enjoyed the ocean breeze and surf sounds at night.

Lovely beach getaway

This was our first time to Oak Island, it is a quiet family oriented area. If you are looking for a restful and peaceful getaway I would recommend Oak Island. Our condo was lovely, very clean, well equipped with a great view of the beach. The beach is beautiful and was not crowded at all. We look forward to future visits.

Paradise of peace and quiet

This was our first time at OAK ISLAND. It's an awesome place, the condo was clean and perfectly located. The beach is awesome. The pool is also a great thing. Oak Island is fairly close to everything, village, southport village and also for those who really want the busy town or Myrtle Beach (1 hour), next time I'm also bringing the golf clubs!!!

My family and I stayed at this wonderful beachfront condo, it was just as the owner described it would be. The oceanfront view could have not been better. It was just a short distance out to the ocean and the pool area was kept very clean. The condo itself was neat and clean and equipped with more than enough to meet your needs. We also got to witness the sea turtles coming out of the nest and that was worth it all. The beach is clean and layed back and very family oriented. The local sites were nice and the traffic bare to none. It is a more secluded area for those that just want to relax and get away but the action is not too far away. Great place look foward to next year!

New Beach, New lighthouse

We had a easy, relaxing stay at the beach. I woke up every morning watching the waves come in from my balcony. We walked to the lighthouse a few times and did the tour. It was an easy vacation... meaning that I didn't have to do a lot of work, coming in or leaving. They made my stay enjoyable. I really liked the personal touches Terri gave us. A call to make sure we got there safely, an email to check on us, and even an email, as well as info at the condo, for places to go. They even had a Food Lion MVP card on the keys so that you didn't even have to remember yours from home. Easy clean up to leave. I would recommend this condo, as well as the owners, to any beach bums out there!

Little Piece of Paradise

Our first vacation at Oak Island was only enhanced by these accommodations. The condo is nicely appointed and the kitchen is well equipped. The view is perfect! The week we were there, a sea turtle nest was identified right in front of our building. Every day we checked the nest for signs of hatching but we didn't stay quite long enough to witness the event! The beach is wide and clean and the sunsets are breathtakingly gorgeous. There is a pier within walking distance and lots of local and chain-type restaurants close by. The Oak Island Lighthouse is also right up the road. This beach seemed to be very family friendly.

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation at the Oak Island Villas. The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The owners did a wonderful job on their remodeling. I especially liked the use of tile on the kitchen and bathroom walls. I felt like these rooms were cleaner, because tile is easier to wipe down and disinfect than drywall. The kitchen was also well-stocked, which was nice when preparing meals. We would recommend Oak Island Villas to friends and hope to return again next year.

Terrific condo on the beach!

Our family spent one of our nicest vacations in this Oak Island condo on the beach. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the huge porch. Condo is clean and well kept and the owners are such nice folks. We will definitely stay there again.

I could go on and on but can simply say that the condo was fabulous and exceeded my expectations. The pictures on-line do a great job showing the nice accomodations, the great views and how close this is to the beach. Great family beach - not crowded at all. Same for the nice pool. Our unit was an oceanfront corner unit, large windows and the balcony enabled us to view the ocean as well as all the way down the beach. No elevator helped us get plenty of exercise. We would like to go back soon.

We absolutely loved our stay in Oak Island. Our villa was perfect with a million dollar view while sitting on the comfortable large deck! The owners of the property were so very nice to work with and the villa was so clean and fixed up so nice. The property was well maintained! Just a perfect place!!! Beautifully equiped condo on the beach

Although the outside of the building could be improved if it was painted a lighter colour than grey, once you opened the door you had a light, spacious apartment that opened directly onto the beach area. In the mornings you awoke to views of the sea, and breakfast (and all meals) were had on the balcony overlooking the spectacular beach. Whilst we were there, two sea turtle nests were discovered on the beach and fenced off to aid later hatching. We used the condo as a base to travel all over the area from Southport to Wilmington, Bald Head ISland and further afield to Myrtle Beach.
