Description of the Oaxaca vacation home rental
The house Casa Loma Linda is situated on a hill with panoramic view over Oaxaca city, mountains and valleys in the secure and calm northern part of the city. A beautiful garden with fruit trees offers shade and a space to relax.
The house is fully furnished and equipped, counts with a spacious kitchen and 2 big terraces. Tv, telephone, wireless internet are included. Families are welcome!
A cleaning lady takes care of the house twice a week and can help more often if you wish so. We also offer cooking of delicious oaxacan meals as well as cooking clases.
Tours and visits to museums, galleries, colorful indigenous markets and historical and arqueological sites can be designed for your individual needs.
Pick up from the airport can be arranged.
Area Description
Oaxaca is a colonial town and the historical center is declared as an world heritage site by UNESCO. Walking to the centre of the city - it is a scenic walk along the old acueduct - takes 25-30 minutes. The bus (bus stop is 3 blocks away), takes 10-15 minutes. Taxis need 10 minutes and are very cheap, 4-5 USD to the centre, if much.
The most important sites to visit are: Monte Alban, Mitla, Yagul, Hierve el Agua, El Tule, the market of Tlacolula, The caves of San Sebastian, La Sierra Norte, Ixtlan just to name a few.

Museum of Modern Art, Regional Museum, Palace with wall paintings, handycraft as black pottery in Coyotepec, carpet weaver villages as Teotitlan del Valle. Beautiful ecotours through the Sierra Norte including mountainbiking, hiking, horse riding.
I cooked many meals, in your spacious kitchen, a very European touch. The bed is so comfortable that it allowed relaxing sleep time.
Your house manager is courteous, efficient and most helpful when information or assistance was required.
The cleaner is a lovely young lady, who works hard and is thorough. I believe she enjoyed my Italian coffee and biscuits on her break.
The house next to your vecinos, on Calle Mirador, has opened a ‘miscelania’ very handy for basic shopping, eggs, bananas, some vegetables, and we have taken with us two slabs of soft drink that they ordered in especially for us.
Peter and I sincerely wish that Casa Loma Linda receives full occupancy. It certainly deserves it.
