Description of the Ocala vacation home rental

Our 3 bedroom 2 bath home on the 6th tee and fairway of the Golden Hills Golf & Turf Club is perfect for first or second honeymooners, but spacious enough to comfortably accomodate a party of 6 when not reserved for our special honeymoon guests.

To enhance the stay of our honeymooners, we offer a 10% discount and a complimentary fruit, cheese, and wine basket.

Honeymoon Getaway's rec room and the oversized Master bedroom have sliding glass doors that open to a vista of lush "Old Florida" fauna and flora; huge oak trees, Spanish moss, and tropical birds and plants. The 1 acre property is nestled between a horse farm in front, and the 18 hole Championship golf course out back. The golf course was re-designed by Rees Jones, and is host to the 2009 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship in Oct. Bring your camera You may be watching a future Lorena Ochoa from your back yard! The Master bedroom contains a king bed, and has its own bath and 2 walk-in closets. The other two bedrooms have a queen bed and a queen futon. There is a rec room, living room, dining room, and covered back porch. The dining room table seats 6, and there are 2 patio tables and a gas grill on the back porch for outside enjoyment. The laundry room is off the kitchen with a full size washer and dryer.

If you're a golfer, you'll love the well tended golf course at Golden Hills Golf & Turf Club. There are beautiful rolling hills,and century old oak trees lining the fairways, and there are egrets and other water fowl in the lakes as well as a pair of wild turkeys on the 13th fairway!
Honeymoon Getaway is close to H.I.T.S., Publix, Walgreens, 15 min. to Silver Springs attractions, 1 1/2 Hr from Disney/Orlando or Tampa. Jai Alai is just 35 minutes away.
There are wonderful Malls for shopping, restaurants for dining, beautiful rolling hills and Horse Farms.
The quiet and peaceful neighborhood streets are ideal for walking, birdwatching or biking.
Watch TV, play cards, or billiards while sipping your favorite refreshment in Honeymoon Getaway's rec room as you enjoy the wonderful back yard vista and the 6th tee and fairway. Enjoy watching butterflies and hummingbirds, pileated woodpeckers, osprey and cardinals from the breakfast nook of the kitchen. Or relax on the back porch with a book, eating, or barbequing your steaks on the gas grill.

Play 18 holes and then relax at the Club House for lunch or a drink as you watch other golfers practice at the range. Even if you don't golf, you'll want to take advantage of the Club House for drinks, lunch or dinner. The menu is nicely varied, and the chef is excellent.

• Deposits: Security Deposit: $200 for weekly guests and $500 for monthly guests and is due with application. Full payment required 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment in U.S. currency only, by Certified check, personal check, or money order. Rates include yard care, local phone, basic Dish TV, DSL programming, and utilities.
   
• Other Fees: Cleaning fees are $75 for weekly guests and $100 for monthly guests. Whether your visit is one week or longer, you will leave fully refreshed and relaxed. You won't want to leave. But if, and when you do leave, we hope you will return again for a second or third honeymoon stay at Honeymoon Getaway! Ocala is a beautiful place to live. Come for a visit, stay for a lifetime

The house was a great place to stay, as we were working in Ocala for a month. The location is very good, just outside the town, very quiet and very green, with lots of nice shrubs and the golf course for a view. Easy access to shops and there are a few bars near by. Facilities were good at the house, plenty of hot water, air-con, a really nice pool table, satalite TV's and a bug free outide seating area with a barbie. Beds were good, we slept like logs! The facilities at the golf course were good and the course is well worth a go, very high standard course. Access to other parts of Florida was made easy by good road links and you could get to either the Gulf or Pacific beaches easily. About 1 1/2hrs to get to Orlando airport or Disney.
