360 degrees view of Atlantic Ocean and GS Bay

Perched on a sand-dune, this elevated house affords guests the opportunity to see Fire Island, Long Island, and
the Atlantic -- just by turning a head. Sunsets are
particularly wonderful, as you see the sund dip down all the while casting shadows oon the Great South Bay. The sun
sets turning the sky gradually darker, to purple then to
black.
All of this is available from the top deck which is actually an outdoor room 20 x 20 feet square. During the day, it functions as a primo sun-gathering place -- and later on as a wathch-spot.
The interior of the house is well-furnished and comfortable. Three bathrooms, two tubs, and actually three outdoor showers make for ease. There are 5 bedrooms, one of which can function as either a bedroom or as a den-office. In addtion to the upstairs living room( 4 bedrooms on lower
floor-den-bedroom on 2nd floor), there is a sitting area on the first floor, around the pond.
Fully furnished with linens, china, pots, pans and everything you need for ease of living.

House is situated on a very quiet street. Most of the occupants are just weekend visitors. It is a 45 second walk to the beach. This beach is never crowded -- even oon the hottest days.
Town has a few restaurant bars --a few minutes walk . Children are welcome so you need not worry about that.
In fact, on of the bars has kids night with crab races,
and the like. There is also a weekly bingo game -- for which the prize is a great bike. Fun, simple, and a way
to eat or snack.
15 minutes walk away is the town of Ocean Beach -- a regular tourist mecca with bars, restaurants, shops.

For the lazy, the water-taxi goes there or all around the
island to the different towns -- all of which have their
own cache.
