Description of the Ocean Beach vacation home rental
The post-modern home sits on a hill with ocean views. The beach entrance is 500 feet away. It is an upside down house, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths down, kitchen, dining room, great room and powder room up. There is a huge deck on the second floor with 360 degree views.

The house has two other decks, one off the first floor which gets afternoon and late afternoon sun, and another off the master suite. The master suite is huge, about 20 x 20 plus a double walk through closet, a closet built especially for shoes, a linen closet, two marble sinks, huge bathtub, separate shower and separate toilet.

A second bedroom, 10x12, has its own bathroom with shower, and the third and fourth bedrooms, 12x12, share a bathroom with two sinks. There is also a downstairs living room with fireplace. The great room has a fireplace as well.

The home has been lovingly cared for and is in perfect condition. It also has an outdoor shower, central air and a covered area for garbage. The stove uses gas, and that gas also feeds into a gas grill, which is on the upper deck.

The home is surrounded by trees and shrubbery so that you can see the ocean from the upper deck but no one can see you. Circular driveway, full basement with two separate rooms, one for storage, the other with a pool table. There is also a ping pong table.

Area Info
The home is in the Amagansett Dunes area that contains about 200 homes. It is private with no main roads though route 27, the main east west road, is a minute away. It leads into East Hampton to the West and Montauk to the East.

Most people use their homes during the warm months only but there is a substantial year-round population as well. The super market and post office are a short bicycle ride away, or you can walk or drive. There is also a gas station.
Amagansett town is a three minute car ride and contains a liquor store, general store, an art gallery, the Stephen Talk House, which gets many of the top folk and rock bands year round, and Amagansett Square, a large grassy area, perfect for children or an outdoor lunch. It is surrounded by many interesting shops. There are half a dozen restaurants in and around Amagansett and it is always possible to get a table in any, even in August, the busiest month. East Hampton, famous for its shopping, people watching and restaurants is a five minute car ride away and also has a movie theatre with six screens.

Montauk is perhaps ten minutes to the East and is one of the main boating and fishing areas in the East. It likes to call itself the un-Hampton. In short, the house has everything and so does the area.
