Description of the Ocean City vacation condo rental
We just had the place freshly painted and new carpet installed.You will find everything you need is in the Condo other than your personal items and toiletries. August of 2008 we replaced the Sofa Bed Mattress, added 2 Rocking Chairs to the Bay side Balcony and added a few new Pictures and Beachy Knick knacks. Lastly,Storm Windows were added to the Bedrooms to quiet things down while you sleep.
Oceanfront on the Living room side and Front private Balcony...get up early and see the Fabulous Sunrise over the Ocean while you drink your coffee.
Breath taking Sunsets from the outside porch on the Bay side.
Great for Winter vacations and Get-aways just as well.
Indoor and Outdoor Swimming Pools, Indoor Ice Skating Rink, Workout room, Game room, Pool table,Ping Pong Tables, Jacuzzi and Sauna.
Wireless Internet service right in the condo.
We also have property in Orlando...$390 - $590 per week!

Area Description
Ocean City has a lot to offer. Most people that have been there return year after year. There is the Ocean, the famous boardwalk. A game of miniature golf is always fun. Assateague Island, where wild horses run free is only a short drive away. Amusement and Water parks galore!

For Summer 2009 Rentals that are reserved prior to January 30th We will reserve with only $500 down and the balance due 2 Months prior to your vacation.

- Other Fees: Taxes are 6% sales tax and 4.5% occupancy tax.

This was our family vacation for this year. Everyone had something to do to enjoy their vacation. The young ones were happy with the pool, beach, and ice skating. The older children (the boys) loved the fishing and jet skiing in the area. The women loved the shopping, relaxing (sauna was great) and me I was just happy that everyone enjoyed themselves. Who would think a Beach Vacation in December..along the Maryland Coast would
be wonderful? ....My family had a wonderful vacation in this condo/resort. We were delighted to walk along the beach and look for shells. The condo had everything we needed and the owners could not have been more helpful or kind. We hope we are able to return again next year.

My sister and I spent a nice long weekend at this condo, thanks to the owners, who were very kind, helpful and very accomodating. I have to admit I had never rented out a condo like this before (always a hotel person, until now) but was so pleasantly pleased after dealing with the owners of this unit. Couldn't have been any kinder. The unit was beautiful, clean, comfortable and perfectly located in OC. Was a little disappointed that many of the larger restaurant chains were closed for the season....HOWEVER, because of that we found The Crab Cake Factory which sits right next door to the Carousel. They serve the most delicious crab cakes my sister and I have had. A definite plus to staying at this condo. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips !!Such a great deal !! We stayed during the month of Novemeber and, fortunately, the weather cooperated with us...we were prepared with hats and gloves, but it was 60's and sunny all week. The condo was like home, from the sheets ready on the bed when we arrived to completely stocked kitchen...the children enjoyed collecting the shells that weren't picked over, the beach and view from the condo. was great, the beds comfortable, the view of the bay and ocean spectacular, and ice rink, since my daughter is a pro, wonderful. She entertained the crowds there for the weekend well. The pool was warm and the staff was very kind. Check-in, and out, regretable, was very easy. The only thing we were missing was a pizza cutter! :-). I would highly recommend this condo, and will return maybe next Thanksgiving, myself. The owners were very nice also. If you wish for a most relaxing stay, at a great, homey, condo. I would recommend this one without a doubt. Have a happy vacation....:-) Nice place, October 6, 2008

The condo was very nice and well equipped. The view is beautiful and beds and pillows were very comfy. I only wish I had known that 1/2 the town (including some areas in the hotel itself) were closed for the season! We just got back home last night. We had a wonderful time. There were 2 good days of weather and we could actually get in the ocean and hunt for shells and play. My girls were amazed by the ocean, but it was our oldest Jack Russell "Digby" who had the best time in the water. We did a few things locally, Ripley's, laser tag, but most of the time we just chilled at the condo. All the staff were so helpful and condiserate. It was our best vacation to date as a family. We plan on going back during the peak season. Also my youngest daughter didn't have anything to take her shells home in so we "borrowed" one of the large plastic bowls and lids from the kitchen to get them back to Ohio. I would like to either replace the bowl or get the money to you for it. Again, we had a wonderful time and have every intention of coming back again. Thank you!!!!!!

We went to the boardwalk and when we returned, the place was in great condition. It actually smelled clean when you walked in the door. She does a great job for you. Thank you for the wonderful weekend we spent at your home. Ocean City, surprisingly, was a bit busy with several soccer teams in town for their tournaments. That made the weekend a bit more fun as, with the warm weather, the beach had a fairly good amount of activity. We arrived late Saturday evening and followed your recommendations for dinner at Seasons.
The purpose of the trip was not entirely to relax. After Wednesday, I was to travel to Baltimore for training. I was able to reschedule the training for Tuesday which would have me home two days earlier so we opted to leave Monday morning. I notified your housekeeper Royce of our plans to check out early. She truly is a charming person and so devoted to you and your family. Upon leaving, as instructed, we washed/dried the bedding and left it on the bed, washed/dried/ re stacked the towels, vacuumed the rugs, and emptied the trash can. I must admit your home was not only lovely, but also spotless. Although we did not utilize the kitchen, I was impressed with the order and the cleanliness of the kitchen, the refrigerator, and the stock you provide to make one's vacation as convenient as home. Never having rented a private home for vacation, one of my main concerns was in whether or not the home would be up to my standards. You (and Royce) have calmed my concerns.
Initially I thought we would be vacationing mid to end of August but changes class schedules for our daughter force us to wait until we can make firm dates. As our daughter finalizes her summer school schedule, we should be able to lock in our plans. I will be in touch.
Again, thank you both for allowing us to thoroughly relax in your home. I only wish I could bottle the sound of the waves and the gentle breeze from your balcony.

I finally got the condo review to go through; had to send in a trouble ticket to the site and they responded today that it had been fixed and it would take 3-4 days to be posted. I forgot to add to the review that my daughter was very impressed with the port-a-crib and high chair that you provided. She said they were quality ones. Little Grady (7 months old) slept really well in the port-a-crib. Thanks again for everything. When we decide to go to Orlando, I'll check in with you. It will be several years; no need to take the grands when they are so young.

Hi Randy, I have to admit that this has been one of my best vacations ever, it was like home. The condo was perfect...very relaxing. We had a problem though with the handle coming off the shower head in the living room bathroom, other than that everything is fine. I am leaving on Monday evening and will clean the unit and leave it as I found it...nice and ready for the next tenents. I sure hope I can get down again and I sure will rent your unit again. We had the stove stuck on "clean" when we came, so we couldn't close the door because the latch was stuck to the left, but my son fixed it by pushing the button on the left inside the door of the oven and waiting until the lever returned to its normal position if you should ever have this problem. We really enjoyed our vacation and don't want to leave!!!! Take care and I am sure I will be contacting you in the future. Theresa :-)
Hi Randy, Just wanted to thank you for renting us the condo. Everything was great. Unfortunately, we had that coastal storm, but it really didn't matter. With all the amenities the Carousel had to offer we felt blessed. My husband said it was the most relaxing vaca we have had in a long time. It's possible we may want to rent again in the spring, only this time we may need two units. Do you know anyone else who rents privately that has a two or three bedroom unit as we may have 4 or 5 couples going. Thanks again and any help in the matter would be appreciated. Mary

The camera lens I found on the beach when I was collecting shells; I gave it to my grandson, but I guess he left it behind, so no big deal. I'm not sure about the charger; it's not mine, but let me check with my son and daughter. Thank you for emailing. We had a GREAT time at the beach; I love your condo!
