Description of the Ocean City vacation condo rental
Same cost as 2008! Take the elevator to a 4th floor view of Old Town Ocean City. Enjoy a bit of the Tropics -- indoors! Available to responsibile adults, age 23 and older; couples only are preferred, or couples with children under 14. Sleeps a Maximum of 4.
Thirty days *minimum* advance reservation required.
Clean, nice and affordable -- with on-site Manager. Just a block and a half to the Boardwalk. Rents Saturday to Saturday only during July, August and September. Prices quoted are for double occupancy. Additional persons, including any children are $5 each per night, additional. From the tropical/nautical balcony you can see the canal, boats and a bit of the bay. Newly remodeled building. Roomy efficiency apartment inspired by the Tropics, there is romantic mood lighting, tropical decor and even a palm tree with twinkle lights. Bedroom area has a queen size bed. The living room area has a futon that folds down into a full size bed. There is a large sliding door that separates the sleeping areas, if needed.
Full eat-in kitchen includes new oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven & coffee maker. Quality cookware & dinnerware plus liquid hand soap, dish detergent, coffee filters, plastic wrap, foil, wax paper and many other touches of home.
Individually controlled AC, color cable TV, DVD/VCR, remote with sleep timer, CD player.
Building has on-site Manager, locking security door, bike rack and outside shower. Laundry room is down the hall ($1.75 per load.) We allow smoking, but we do ask that you try to do so on the balcony. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. Photo ID and $150 security deposit required. Taxes are 10.5%.

Area Information
In "Old Town" Ocean City, just a block and a half from the Boards! It's close to Bahia Marina and Fishtales Grill & Pub, Embers Buffet, Blu Crab House, Phillips Buffet, Happy Jack Pancake House, Jonah and the Whale Buffet, Candy Kitchen, American Legion Post 166, convenience and liquor store and 2 mini golf courses. Most of these are within 2 blocks of the apartment. Minute Market, Subway and 7-11 are a block or 2 more.

Love the indoor Tropics

My husband and I have been renting the tropics indoors for quite a few years now and absolutely love the place. The location is close to everything. Very clean

I try my best to make sure that every guest enjoys a relaxed and worry-free vacation in clean, comfortable surroundings. I have many repeat guests and I think that that is a testimonial in itself. I always go the extra mile to make everything convenient and guest-friendly. Just one example: inside the nightstand there is a large number of menus from local restaurants, and every Spring I update that collection with the newest published menus. There are also current coupons, maps and local magazines with coupons right there. There are books, puzzles and games inside the nightstand too, for rainy days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Do you allow June graduates?
A:No. I've had a very bad experience with that. Also, I will need to know the exact number of people who will be in my apartment. For example: Jean Smith, husband, 3 year old child. I always contact my building manager to make sure that the information on the rental contract matches who comes and goes from my apartment.
Q:Is this on the beach?
A:No, it's on a canal of the bay.
Q:Can I have guests in the apartment?
A:Yes, provided you let me know ahead of your rental date that this will be occurring, and if they will leave the apartment by 10 pm. No guests are permitted to spend the night.
Q:Do you allow pets?
A:No. The By-Laws of my condo association prohibit anyone but owners to bring pets into the building, and all owners' pets must be registered with our association.
