Area Description

Ocean City is a barrier island that is 15-20 minutes from Atlantic City. Twenty-five minutes to Cape May. Twenty minutes to Wildwood. Ten minutes to Avalon and five minutes to Sea Isle City. Ocean City is a year-round community unlike other shore points. It has been rated the country's NUMBER ONE FAMILY RESORT for the past few years. There is a PHENOMENAL Boardwalk that is second to none!!!!!! It is truly a boardwalk for all ages that has great rides, food and daily shows at the Music Pier for all ages. Hundreds of thousands of people walk, run and bike the Boardwalk daily!! IF you haven't experienced the OCEAN CITY, NJ, BOARDWALK yet, you are TRULY missing a GREAT experience!!! Ask anybody who has been to the Boardwalk!!! If you'd like to take a ferry ride, you can take the Lewes Ferry to Delaware one afternoon, and you can take your bikes or your car on the Ferry. Ocean City is right over the bridge from Somer's Point as well. It is a very centrally located resort that is very well taken care of. It's also only a 20 minute drive to Stockton College from Ocean City for professors or students looking to rent. There's a GREAT regional shopping mall only 15-20 minutes away.

This property is in the very desirable Gardens section of Ocean City. It is very family-oriented in OC. The location of this property is perfect. It's three blocks from the beach and about five blocks to the Boardwalk. So, you get the peace and quiet of a shore house that is just steps away from the heart of town. There are over 100 local restaurants and beautiful boutiques to kids shops between the Boardwalk and downtown area. You will find every kind of food and store imaginable in this area!!! There is always either a show, band, kids activities or something playing at the Music Pier every single night of the season. The City has the BEST fireworks around on the 4th of July!!! We also have the Night in Venice Parade on July 25th which is the BIGGEST boat parade anywhere in NJ!! There is the Air Show in September that features the BEST air stunts around!!! You can water ski, jet ski, fish, parasail, go deep sea fishing or go to the beach or bay. The Boardwalk stretches miles with hundreds of restaurants, clothes stores, homemade candy stores, ice cream shops,
toy stores and amusement rides for the kids as well as adults!!! There is the Miss Ocean City Contest in the summer. The Twins Contest. Night in Venice which is the Boat Parade that should not be missed. You can bike anywhere on this island. The people are very friendly and helpful. It is VERY family-oriented here in OC!! You can visit other shore points while in OC. Wildwood, Cape May, Avalon, Stone Harbor and Sea Isle are all within 5 to 25 minutes away. Atlantic City is only 15-20 minutes away from Ocean City as well for those who want to try their hands at Lady Luck!!!! OCEAN CITY IS JUST AN ALL-AROUND GREAT FAMILY RESORT AND LOCATIO!!!!!
