Ocean City, located within a 30 minute drive of both Atlantic City casinos and outlets and historical Cape May, is known for having one of the finest boardwalks on the East Coast, where families can enjoy amusement and waterslide parks, minature golf, bike riding, shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful beaches of the East Atlantic Ocean. Within walking distance or a short bike ride, there are many unique boutiques, shops, and restaurants to choose from in the downtown area. On the bayfront, boating and watersport rentals are plentiful and all within walking distance. With Ocean City being a "dry" town, meaning no alcohol served, area towns within a 10 minute drive offer many fine restaurants in which alcohol is permitted and served.
