Area Description

The Oceanside Harbor is just a mile or so West of this house. The Harbor is home to quaint shops and casual dining such as Joe's Crab Shack and Rockin' Baja Lobster. There are also boat, surfboard, boogie board rentals and some of the best sportfishing trips depart daily from this harbor. A short walk down the beach East is the Oceanside Pier where you can enjoy fishing or dining at Rubys. Legoland is within 5 miles in neighboring town Carlsbad. The world famous San Diego Zoo and Sea World are just 30 minutes away where you can also enjoy historic San Diego's Old Town and the Gas Lamp district. Oceanside is not far from Orange/LA County attractions such as Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios and Hollywood.

This homey beach house was just perfect for our large family. At one point during the week we had 17 of us in the home. Just a few steps away from the beach, we had a panaramic view of the ocean front with the pier on south side and endless beach on the north from both upper and lower decks. The home has character and is updated with a great working kitchen and nice TV room. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi tub on the deck each night watching the moon, stars and glistening water. Can't say enough about our vacation. We are hoping return next year!

We had a great time. Great proximity to the beach/eateries. The home itself was well equipped and provided enough space for all of us (7 people). The best part were the views of the ocean (from most anywhere in the home!) We felt like we were at home-away-from-home. I would recommend place to anyone.

We really liked this vacation rental. There were a few minor isuues (noisy neighbors and few odors), but nothing to offset the fantastic view and the closeness to the beach. We were traveling with grandchildren and found the beach toys and wagon very helpful. The media room is fantstic and the private deck off the upstairs bedroom is breathtaking. The hot tub was clean and maintained during our stay. We would definetly rent this home again.

We fell in love with the location, the view, the great home-like feeling, and the spaciousness. We would love to rent it again. The kids had a great time between the TV room and the hot tub and the beach. We played cards and sunbathed on the deck, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this fantastic home.

This house is terrific! We rented from No. Coast Village, in the past- this blows those away! Amazing views of ocean from upstairs BR, as well as kitchen and family room. Great for entertaining!! Deck area outside is beautiful. Top of the line grill, furniture & plasma TVs (3x). King-size bed is a select comfort- we were pleasantly surprised! Great TV room (leather furn + huge plasma)and many, many great movies to watch. Owners are very receptive- easy to get in touch with for questions. We would definitely stay here again & again. Wonderful, wonderful home!
