Immaculate Brand New Vacation Rental with expansive ocean views from every room. Be one of the first to stay in this upscale vacation home situated a short walk from the beach in picturesque Cape Meares. There is a large deck with tinted glass rail for unobstructed views of the ocean and Pyramid Rock.
The top floor has a huge great room with vaulted ceilings, large picture windows overlooking the ocean, comfortable sectional with a pillow-top queen sleeper sofa, ceiling fan, and great lighting. The well-equipped kitchen has lots of cabinets, a side-by-side refrigerator with filtered in door ice/water, ceramic cook top, dishwasher, etc. The den sports a queen pillow-top sleeper sofa, Wall mounted 16:9 cable TV with DVD player, stereo with cd changer and AirTunes®, and wireless internet. There is a full bath with shower.
The lower floor has a huge master bedroom with a queen bed and cable TV. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a twin doubler connection system to easily convert to a king size bed and a TV/VCR with childrens videos. Downstairs also has a full bath and laundry room.
The house comfortably sleeps 8 utilizing the 2 queen sleepers upstairs.

House located on a dead end street only a few feet from the start of the High Tide Loop hike, a fun hike that ends at the picturesque Cape Meares Lighthouse. Biking, Beach-combing, Fishing, Kite flying, and quiet relaxation are all available in Cape Meares.
There are 5 very good restaurants within 4 miles, Netarts Bay offers clam digging, canoeing, kayaking, and boat rentals.
8 miles away is Tillamook, which offers shopping, air and pioneer museums, bi-plane rides, movie rentals, and most amenities.

Our family (seven people) stayed for three nights at Tranquillo and enjoyed it immensely. The house is lovely and quite well equipped. The view is great and the walk to the beach is only a few minutes. We visited the Cape Meares Lighthouse, which is nearby, and enjoyed the little Farmer's Market in Tillamook on Saturday. Very quiet location and a lovely spot to really get away from it all!

The house was very comfortable and well-situated and pleasant to stay in. A set of elderly parents were delighted with the views and close beach access. Only drawback was the stairs between bedroom and great room, for them. With hiking, visiting nearby scenic points and just hanging out, we all had a very good time.

We had a great time with sunshine and a lot of long walks on the beach - we loved beachcombing during low tide!! The house is very nice and has everything we needed for a wonderful week. The furnishings are tasteful and very relaxing - it feels like home. Cape Meares is a treasure with privacy, but Tillamook close enough to get to for supplies. Thank you for sharing your home. Great place, view okay but not great except for the amazing tree outside!!! We would definitely rent again. We were there in March....iffy weather time....but comforting place...good beds...need some area rugs. BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING AS NOW THAT I AM HOME, I WANT TO BE BACK THERE!

Thanks for the nice long weekend. We enjoyed the house- nice views (as advertised), good house layout, nice TV, easy beach access. The Cape Meares beach is somewhat wind sheltered and very nice. We enjoyed it.
We had a wonderful time! Watching the sunsets and listening to the Ocean while snuggled up on the comfy couch was a treat. With easy access to: hiking trails, the beach, museums, kayaking, fishing....what else could one want? We are HOOKED!!!

The weather was strongly moody. Over the past two days we have seen close to
10 elk, and we enjoyed a great dinner at the Pelican Pub & Brewery Pacific City.
Definitely a well-kept secret - soon to become VERY popular. We loved our stay.

We have a lovely weekend, though the weather was rainy, misty and foggy on March 16-19, 2007. The house is well equipped and very clean, comfortable and condusive to lots of renewing, relaxing, and reconnecting. Just what we needed:)
The house is immaculate and very well furnished. We had a great time. We expected foggy/wet weather and were pleasantly surprised by sunshine. Loved the beach - we saw maybe 6 other people out walking the whole time. Highly recommended!
We are so happy to be here! The house is lovely - a castle on the beach... The girls' violin practice was quite nice in the large, open spaces and such a view to enjoy while playing! We needed a refuge from a hectic year and this provided it. We are indeed blessed.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Cape Mears Beach house. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. The beach was close and secluded, and the sunsets on the patio were perfect. We had a great time and would love to come back sometime

We had three couples and a toddler here and had a terrific time! While there was plenty of inside things to keep us entertained, like the dozens of DVD's, wireless internet, and board games, we lucked out with sunny weather in February. With the beach only minutes away by foot, we hiked the up and down the beach, enjoyed beach combing and bird watching. It's a close to PDX get-away that's comfortable and reasonably priced. We'll be back again soon!

A truly tranquill setting!!! Beautiful house. Lovely secluded beach, providing an abundance of fun for the children and the sunsets are amazing. This is just what you need to get away from it all and chill. We will be back.
