View is better than the photos imply. The whole living area is filled with light. Everything is clean and tidy. It's spacious for two couples and/or children. Very pet & kid friendly. Dogs loved the dog run as woods are close by. (Hiking path around the house). The owner, Mary Lou, is kind and helpful. We understand there are agates to be found on the beach in winter so we will return then as well. The *only* thing we didn't care for, not reviewed before, was a musty smell downstairs. You'll want to air it out when you get there and that does help. The rental price is excellent, the downtown area is small but quaint with good food, and Tillamook very accessible. Overall, we loved the place.

Had a relaxing visit away from the city in this comfortably furnished home. Really enjoyed the amazing view through the wall of windows, the jacuzzi tub, the well stocked puzzle closet, and the BBQ. The beach is a bit of a trek, but easy to get to by car. The tiny kitchen is well stocked with utensils, spices, and condiments for those who want to cook. My only warning is to those with difficulty with stairs as the main living area is on the second floor. Mary Lou was great to work with.

This was a great house with lots of space. We had six adults and two little kids and it was enough space for us to be comfortable. Oceanside is a great little town. Very quiet and away from the crowds. There is an amazing beach and lots of great things to explore. The house also comes with a great deck with an awesome view. We got some great sunsets during our week there. Be aware that It is somewhat difficult to get to the beach from this house. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach going down a steep hill. For those who are not physically fit and able, a car is required to get down to the beach. So, if you are hoping to rent a place with a leisurely stroll to the beach, this isn't the place for you. The only other complaint that I would have is that the owner does require quite a lot of clean up before leaving (including starting laundry, vacuuming, taking your own garbage out with you). This isn't a big deal, and is common for many rental houses, but it did take up most of our last morning there and would have liked to be able to "return things back to their proper place" and then be able to leave. Overall, I would highly recommended this house and you will enjoy any time that you spend there. The fact that it allows pets is a great bonus and not always easy to find. Rent with confidence knowing you're going to a good place!

The view is outstanding, home clean and comfortable. There were baby items there such as a highchair and portacrib so we needed to bring less stuff. Plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms to keep everyone happy. Found the beach trail but it is not for the faint of heart or children--they need to be driven. Spent quality time with the entire family. Kitchen had lots of equipment but only complaint is no storage for food except refrig. Mary Ann was ideal to work with and we look forward to returning. ETS

This house feels modern but homey and loved. Like Grandma's house. It had everything we needed to feel really comfortable and relaxed. Sat down and read the guest book and it was full of warm experiences from others over the years. I found myself agreeing with all of them. Memorable trip for us too and I had no idea that the beach at Oceanside has SOOO many agates on it. We turned into little rock hounds that weekend.

I have stayed here a couple times, once with a huge group that the house accomodated quite well! Able to have some of the earlier to bed folks head downstairs and the later to bed folks stay up and play! The deck is beautiful, with a fireplace chimenea thing on the deck to enjoy - spectacular star watching, too! Had a great time, would definitely go there again.

My friends and I had a very lovely time at this beach house. There was an initial mixup in communication about the keys but it all worked out with the owners bending over backwards to take care of it. The house was cozy and clean, lots of space, great view, very comfortable. I would definitely rent it again.

Plenty of comfortable space for our four generations. Separation of two levels provides for quiet time as well as group gathering. Three bathrooms a real plus, although kichen rather small. Generously furnished with all modern conveniences with spacious deck viewing ocean. Nice quiet neighborhood above charming old town. Price very reasonable for what one gets.
