Description of the Ocoee vacation apartment rental

This 575 square feet upstairs apartment is so much nicer than a small hotel room AND for a better price. You have a private parking space with landscape lights lighting the way to the private stairs entrance. The queen bedroom is complete with dresser, chest of drawers, night stand and a closet with plenty of room. A 6 foot window gives lots of light and the ceiling fan will cool you off as you rest under the plush comforter on the new pillow top mattress.

More 6 foot windows in the living area provide lots of natural light as well as a nice view of the creek and fruit trees. All of the windows have roll up shades for privacy. The queen sofabed sleeps 2 and 2 twin air mattresses in the sleeping loft (older children only) make it a great place to house 6. The TV has Direct TV with Encore added and a DVD player with some movies provided for your enjoyment.

The dining table seats 6 and has extra lighting above.

Off the dining area is a built in computer desk so you can work on your laptop via wireless internet if you like. The bookshelf above holds childrens' games and some extra reading material if you run out.

All new appliances complete the furnished kitchen down to the wine glasses with charms. Whether you cook or not during your stay, this down-sized kitchen has everything you need. The small fridge with freezer, gas stove and double sink will meet your needs. A microwave, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot and hand mixer are provided as well as dishware service for 8, pots, pans, baking dishes and wine glasses to make you feel at home.

We're very proud of the remodeled bathroom. Although small, it has a roomy shower, sizable vanity and wall mirror. A small window opens for fresh air and extra ventilation. Done in all black, white and silver, we provide plush white and maroon towels for a dash of color. You will find many "hotel" extras in case you forgot to pack something. The night light outside the door will lead you there safely in the dark.

The garage is used for storage so you don't have to worry about early morning door openings. We live next door so if there is anything you need, we will do our best to provide it during your stay. We do expect tenants to wash up and put away dishes, but we will do the cleaning once you leave. If your stay is longer than a week, we clean only at the end of your stay. We do not provide laundry service until check out, but there are several laudromats close by.

We provide a basket full of maps, travel books, and brochures for use during your stay. Please feel free to add to it. There is also a notebook with information about the apartment, the area and instructions for the heat, air, stove and TV.

We are approx 23 miles from Disney, 5 from Universal, 10 from Sea World, 6 from International Drive, 1 hour to the east coast, 2 hours to the west coast. Our street dead ends into a city park with a playground, basketball and tennis courts. We are 2 miles from a 20 mile bike trail.

Get away from the tourist scene in our town with nice restaurants, great shopping and 2 movie theaters. Non-smokers only and no pets. $350 for first week. Discount for extra weeks. We will rent for the winter season.

Ocoee has a population of 30,000. We have many restaurants, a mall, 2 movie theatres, and many amenities of small town living. We are just between Orlando and Winter Garden. Both offer more restaurants and shopping. There is a local golf course in Ocoee, in addition to numerous others within a 10 mile radius. There are many lakes for fishing and boating. Of course we are in the heart of tourist area, but far eoungh away that you can relax. In Winter Garden there is a family owned bowling alley and a nice old fashion downtown area with a Train museum and a Historical Museum. The West Orange Bike Trail begins in Oakland and passes through Winter Garden, Ocoee, Clarcona and ends in Apopka. It's great for walking, biking and roller blading with rest areas and parks conveniently located along the way. You can start at either end or any place in the middle.

Since we are on a dead end street with a park, it's a nice place to walk in the evening. We have plenty of woods and foliage to give it a country appeal.

The Security deposit will be mailed within 3 business days from check out.
