Nice little getaway

We enjoyed the stay at this cabin very much. It was everything we had expected. We did end up getting lost and arriving there much later than anticipated, but Sherry was very patient and helpful in getting us there safely. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Even the people around the area were very friendly. The view and the serenity were just amazing. The weekend spent there wasn't enough. I wish we could've stayed there longer. We definitely plan on coming back in the future!

Great cabin

This is a beautiful cabin, standing on its own on the owners' property. Very private, cozy and it has everything you may need. It's a little far from things to do and restaurants but if you have everything with you, it's perfect. We really enjoyed the stay!

Weekend Getaway

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to take a weekend getaway. The peaceful serenity is just what we needed. We fell in love with the charm of this place. From the location to the cozy feel of the cabin with all the personal touches that make you feel right at home . Sherry takes pride in what she does here and it shows. We were looking for a weekend away from our daily work schedule. But...we got so much more. Would certainly recommend the Little Cabin in the Woods and look forward to returning in the fall/winter months. Reggie & Sandra

Chickasha Ok,

This cabin is just what it say's, private, secluded & romantic. You wont be bothered here except from the birds singing. The owners are just wonderful people it was worth the trip to meet them. We arrived late ( missed a turn or two ) but it was all I hoped for. We stayed at the cabin 3 nights, rode the Talihina ride through the mountains and to Robbers cave but stay mostly at the cabin. Great get away will be doing it again.

This cabin was a perfect small cozy cabin, with a beautiful view. The owner was wonderful to work with, very friendly and has thought of everything. She has definatelly went above and beyonf to make sure you have all you need for your stay. The weather was bad during our stay, but the cabin was so cozy, it was still a relaxing escape from our busy lives. We loved watching the deer in the evening off the back deck.

Quiet beautiful stay

My husband and I stayed at the Little Cabin for a quiet weekend away from the crazy loudness of life. It was perfect and the only thing I would change is that 2 days wasn't enough! The hot tub outside is wonderful and it was a great spot to relax and read a book or just enjoy the sounds of nature. We will be back!

The perfect getaway!!!

The "Little Cabin in the Woods" was the perfect end to a wonderful day trip that my mother and I went on. After a day a driving through the Talimena Byway and sight-seeing the beautiful fall leaves and mountains, we ended our journey at the cabin. It was very private and secluded, yet had all the amenities needed. The detail that was put into this place was priceless! We loved our stay here! We sat around the firepit and talked- it was just what we needed, since our visits together are few. Sherry, the owner, was very nice! She gave excellent direction to get there and met us on the porch. She showed us around- and I loved that every detail had been thought out! ...the perfect getaway!!!

Heaven in the Mountains

My husband and I were going through a very difficult challenge in our lives. He got cancer for the third time and faced surgery again. We both were stressed and tired. I found this charming ad for Little cabin in the woods, and on a last minute effort to find a weekend getaway before my husbands surgery on Monday, the owner had the cabin open for that weekend. She was very nice and helpful! What was shown and described on-line was no where near what we imagined. It was heaven in the mountains for us. This was a very relaxing and peaceful place we stayed at. The owner had everything to fit our needs and it felt like we were all alone in the woods. The hot tub was very relaxing and made for our nights stay a very restful sleep. We had a romantic weekend and didn't get caught up in the every day life of TV, cell phones etc. We left in much better mood and rested after our little retreat from home life. My husband had surgery, no radiation will be required and he is healing very well. Our Heaven in the Mountains will remain in our hearts and we look forward to planning another getaway in the future. This is a 5 star experience for sure!

Great little place.

I was looking for a romantic secluded weekend for my wife and I. The cabin was perfect. If I didn't want to I didn't have to see anyone all day. Owners are nice. All good.

Peace, Quiet and Privacy

We stayed over the July 4 th weekend. This cabin is really well kept, very private and very clean. We have stayed in four other cabins in the area and this one was the best. The owner's care shows everywhere from the cute country decor to the real flowers planted outside. Be sure to bring your own food to cook, the cabin is REMOTE. Cabin has a nicely stocked kitchen and satellite TV. Perfect place for a romantic get away! And you might see or hear Bigfoot.

Quiet fun

This place is just awesome... It was the little touches that made our stay great... The only thing you need to bring is a great bottle of wine and a couple of steaks for the grill.
