Description of the Ogunquit vacation cottage rental

This cozy 2 bedroom sleep 7 cottage is located under the pines at the top of Isreal Head Road in Ogunquit. This means you are just a very short walk down the hill one way to a trolley, which can take you to the beach or to Perkin's Cove. The other way down the hill gets you to the Marginal Way and the Little Beaches. The private yard is great for kids or just down the lane is a grassed park for the family ball game. There is a gas grill and picnic table available for an evening cook-out. Inside: the carpeted large living room has AC, cable TV with VCR and DVD player, a fire place and a queen pullout sofa bed. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with gas stove, microwave, toaster-oven, refrigerator and garbage disposal. The side bedroom has a full sized bed. The other bedroom has a queen sized bed and a twin bed and a TV with VCR and AC. The full bath has a stackable washer/dryer for your convenience.
Lawn and beach chairs are provided.

You will need to provide your own bedding and towels. Sorry no pets are allowed and we ask you smoke outside (if you must). Lease. $500 security deposit. Reduced rates June and September and Off-Season.

Area Description

Ogunquit is known as "a beautiful place by the sea". The 3 mile fine sandy beach is a great plsce for the children to learn to boogie board. The quaint village has many shops, excellent restaurants, and numerous art galleries and studios to explore. Just a 6 minute walk from this cottage is the mile walk known as the Marginal Way. This path along the rocky shore connects near the village and goes to Perkin's Cove. The picturesque cove offers charter fishing & sail boats, boutique shops, more art and great dining. Lots of lobster is available! Ogunquit is a very walkable town, but does provide trolley service for a minimal cost from one end of town to another.
