What a wonderful place this is. Coffee with Tucans in the morning, moonlight dipping(sans suit if you like)in the lovely pool in the evening after a days exploring, ziplining, white water rafting,etc. All this and more readily avalible from this great house and great secluded location. In the village of Ojochal there are several cafes with great food and interesting and informative expats with whom you can trade travel stories. Jennell was above and beyond the call in helping us with our stay in paradise.

Ultimate Privacy

We were so fortunate to experience this fabulous country in a very private setting. The owners had told us we would be staying in the jungle. Well yes, that is true but it is like your own personal resort! We were concerned about no air conditioning but we never needed it because the property has a fabulous breeze all night long. We loved our sunset cocktail hours and private pool. Loved the howler monkeys and toucans!! We definitely be back. You get so much value here. Thanks Wayne and Karen

Wonderful Home/Great Views

Our family of 4 spent Christmas in Ojochal and had a wonderful time. The house was great, the pool was great, and the views were spectacular. We woke to the sounds of the howler monkeys and the flight of the toucans each morning. The children enjoyed the pool and relaxing scenery so much they did not even want to take day trips. I highly recommend renting this house and we hope to rent again in 2009.

Wonderful Villa
August 30, 2008
We rented this villa in August 2008 for a week. The villa is located at the end of a road providing lots of opportunities for wildlife viewing as well as fantastic ocean sunsets. The two bedrooms were very comfortable and would be ideal for 2 couples or a family. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area opened unto a terrace. The pool and landscaping was wonderful. We'll be back next year and hopefully forever very soon. Thanks Wayne and Karen!

My husband and I discovered Ojochal 3 years ago, after traveling to Costa Rica at least a dozen times and pretty well seeing most parts of this beautiful country. We absolutely fell in love with the Ojochal area, and can't adequately exprss how magical "Casa Miles" is as a base when visiting this area! The house is located up a quiet mountain road overlooking the Pacific ocean which means there's always a refreshing breeze. We saw toucans in the trees daily and visiting troops of monkeys (white-faced & howlers) in the jungle behind the house. A fabulous open kitchen leads out to the large veranda, where there's a jaw-dropping view of mountains and ocean. We ate our meals there and then would relax in the hammock. The pool was amazing, both in the heat of the day and at night under the night sky, stars twinkling and listening to the soothing sounds of the jungle falling asleep. The house is immaculately clean and well-equiped. I can not recommend this place HIGHLY enough. We will be returning next year!!
