Description of the Ojochal vacation home rental

This BREATH taking, TROPICAL fully furnished vacation home sits on 6 acres of virgin Rainforest's. The MAGNIFICENT Rainforest's/Mountain views from the large/spacious Terrace leads to a 24x13 in ground pool. While lounging in the Sunny-warm water and a cold tropical drink in your hand. Your breath will be taken away by the INCREDIBLE views and watching the DIVERSITY of TROPICAL Birds in your Paradise Retreat.
This Fully furnished, Newly constructed home has a total of 1500 sq.ft. of spacious/comfortable living with all the amenities of a tropical paradise. All the furniture is Bamboo or Hardwoods made locally. All the rooms are well lighted and have large ceiling fans through out. The house has an abundance of sliding windows and doors that can be well secured. The LARGE Great Room has a Dinning Table that will seat 6. After dinning you can relax on one of the many Bamboo couches or back out on the LARGE Terrace. Where can enjoy the night breeze, cocktail and the reflection of the moon on the water's of the pool. While you enjoy a beautiful evening in Paradise. The Great Room also incorporates a FULLY equipped modern Kitchen. The kitchen has a island-counter-bar with 6 stools to enjoy your robust morning coffee or bowl of FRESH Fruit. A cafe window opens up to a table on the Terrace. Where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the many varieties of Hummingbirds. There are 2 large Bedrooms. Both have AIR CONDITIONING, CEILING FANS and BATHROOMS.
The 1st bedroom has a FULL size BED that sleeps 2 comfortably. There is no need to bring Liens, it is provided. A dresser, closet and Night Stand. This bedroom is large enough to accommodate a 2nd bed for large groups or families. A blow-up mattress can be provide upon request. This bedroom has a sliding door which leads right back out to the Terrace/Pool. This Bathroom has a shower and a separate BATHTUB along with sink and stool. HOT WATER, You Ask! YES! Both Bathrooms and kitchen have HOT WATER. The 2nd Bedroom has 2 Full size BEDS, again all liens are provided. A Dresser, Closet and Night Stands. The Laundry Room and Bath Room is accessible from this bedroom. There is also a door leading from the pool into the Laundry and Bath Rooms. This Bath Room has a shower, sink and stool. The Laundry Room has a Large Capacity Washer and Dryer. There is a outside shower for rinsing off after a day at the Beach. Or after you return from a hike that starts at the house and leads down to the mountain stream and 25 ft. waterfall. A Covered Car Port in attached to the house for your vehicle.

Area Description

The house is located in a Village called Ojochal or Playa Tortuga. Which is on the South Pacific Coast, just above Peninsula of Osa(Southern Zone of Costa Rica). This is one of the Favourite destinations of Americans, Canadians, English, French and Europeans. You will find the Costa Rican Language to be mainly Spanish with a wide range of trans planted Canadians and French speaking people. All are Very Friendly, Helpful and most speak English.
This region of Costa Rica has conserved it natural wildlife and preserved the ecosystem of the Rainforest's. The primary Rain forest, Fauna and Flora are undamaged, thanks to the efforts of the government laws to protect and preserve the Magnificent natural resources.
The main Airport is located in San Jose, Costa Rica. Once in San Jose, you can reach Ojochal by 2 methods, vehicle or plane. You can fly from San Jose to Palmar Sur by Sansa Airlines. There Terminal is connected to the San Jose Terminal in San Jose. This is a 40 minutes plane ride on the single engine Cessna. Once landed in Palmar Sur, you can rent a car or taxi to O Rancho SoLuna in Ojochal to check in with Leo and Michelle. This is a 30 minute car ride to Ojochal from Palmar Sur. Once checked in, they will show the way to your Paradise Retreat. The other methods to reach your Ojochal would be vehicle or shuttle. You can rent a car from one of the many car rental companies located near by the San Jose Airport. They will be able to give directions to Ojochal. This is a beautiful 4 hour drive through the mountains (indicated on the map) or along the pacific coast. If you have never been in Costa Rica and experienced the roads. I would suggest the Shuttle service or fly Sansa. There are a couple Shuttle services that will pick you up at the San Jose Terminal and drive you right to O Rancho SoLuna in Ojochal. This is a 4 hour trip also.
Once you have arrived in Ojochal, Leo and Michelle will be able to help with a car rental and all other questions. The village of Ojochal offer a quiet and tranquil setting. There is a Supermarket, gas station, wine and liquor store, bakery for fresh baked breads, fresh fish, seafood and fruit stands on the Coastal Highway and gift shops. There are many tours you can book in Ojochal such as, river or sea Kayaking, fishing, river mangrove boat ride, diving/snorkeling, horseback riding, hiking, waterfalls, etc. There are many wonderful places to have Breakfast, Lunch and Diner. With many more just a short dive on the Coastal Highway. The BEACHES are Magnificent. The closest beach is Playa Tortuga located 10 minute drive form the house. Playa Ventanas and Pinuelas is a MUST SEE and is 15 minutes by car. Playa Ballena (National Marine Park) is also 15 minutes by car. There are other great beaches a bit further north on the Coastal Highway. Playa Hermosa and The SURFING BEACH Playa Dominical is 20 to 30 minutes by car. There are many resorts, restaurant's and actives to enjoy on the Coastal Highway from Ojochal to Playa Dominical. Playa Dominical in itself is a wonderful place to spend the day. There many activities, beach vendors and tours offer along with wonderful open air restaurants.
If you travel south on the Coastal Highway. You can deep sea fish from the Port of Golfito or travel to Drakes Bay. In Drakes Bay you rent tour boats for Cano Island. Cano is a National Park and offers great snorkeling. This area also offers some of the best DEEP SEA FISHING IN THE WORLD! If you like the Raw wilderness of the Rain forest, travel to THE OSA National Park.
There is no Limit to the enjoyment and adventure Ojochal and The Southern Region of Costa Rica has to offer. No Limit, except your own!

My wife and I stayed for two weeks in this home and had a wonderful experience. We loved the privacy and the nature surrounding the place. Every day we were visited by a variety of birds, butterflies, and monkeys! It is amazing how nature can provide such entertainment! The forested mountain views from the back yard are beautiful and it is so much fun to swim in the pool under the rain. We will stay in this place again and we highly recommend it. Pura vida!
