Description of the Okaloosa Island vacation condo rental

Our condo is fully furnished with all the conveniences of home and sleeps up to 10 people. We have a full wall of windows that provide a great view of the beach and gulf from the kitchen, family room and dining room. This is the larger condo at Waters Edge with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths and our patio that is double the size of the other condo units at Waters Edge. The 3rd bath is great for larger families.

The master bedroom is spacious with a private bathroom, garden tub and seperate shower. The queen room also has a private bathroom. The third bedroom has full bed & full trundle. In the family room, we have a queen sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has a flat screen tv and alarm clock. The third bathroom shares a full bath off the kitchen.

The two beachside pools provide a perfect place to cool down and the barbecue grills are ideal for a family cookout overlooking the gulf. Wireless internet access helps to keep you up to date on business and the fitness room is available at your convenience.

AMENITIES:

The condo has a great open floor plan and spacious condo. It is a second floor unit on the west end. We have two huge gulf side pools, an exercise room, game room/vending, covered parking, beach service (seasonal) and the white sandy beach. We are just minutes away from many restaurants and shopping centers.

The condo has a beautiful view of the gulf and beach. Our unit is just above the grassy park area of the complex so it is more private and quiet than the units over the pool.

We have keyless entry, so there are no keys to keep up with while you are on the beach or at the pool! This is a second floor condo conveniently located next to the stair and the elevator. EXTRA BEACH CHAIRS IN THE CONDO FOR YOU TO TAKE TO THE BEACH.

Area Information

The Florida Gulfarium, always a hit with the kids, is less than 3 minutes away. It is next to the Boardwalk which features an ice cream parlor, a great kite shop, several steak and seafood restaurants, a playground and beach volleyball area. A putt putt golf course with an arcade is just down the street.

Fishing and diving charters can be booked at Brooks Bridge Marina located 1 mile from the Waters Edge.

Fudpuckers, Helen Back Cafe, Pandora's Steakhouse, Old Bay Steamer, High Tide, Floyds Shrimp House, Crab Trap, The Black Pearl.

Waters Edge was wonderful!!! We took my parents, sister and brother in law, neice and our 2 kids and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. Being on the end was nice, and very close to the elevator. The view was beautiful and we are already planning to go back next year. We only found 1 thing to comment about. The large balcony could of had 2 more chairs. But on a vacation who actually hangs out on the balcony. This was well worth the money!!! And Nathan one of the beach attedents was wonderful! If you are looking for a comfortable quiet trip to the beach with family I would definitely recommend this location and unit. It was easy to reserve and the keyless entry could not be easier. The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful. Near Destin restaurants but away from the busier crowd. Minutes from the Gulfarium Marine adventure Park(Highly recommend visiting!)as well as a water park.

We have been going on "Family Fun Week" for ten years to Okaloosa Island. As more grandchildren came along, we needed to move to a larger condo. This condo worked out great for us. We loved the keyless entry. No wasted time picking up and returning keys. We loved how spacious the living/dining area was and the huge patio. We also liked that the patio overlooked the grassy area. We had the view without the noise of the pool. I do wish that the owners would consider putting up more towel bars in the bathrooms and adding some more drinking glasses. But other than that the condo had everything that we needed, had a good start up supplies, and was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The complex also has two great pools which were never overcrowded and the beach service was great with a helpful staff. Yes, we will be back to Waters Edge.

We stayed in Water's Edge #203 with another family of 3 (6 of us total) and loved the spaciousness of the condo and its large balcony. The kitchen and outside grills were perfect for making home cooked meals and the carpeting in the living area was great for the small kids. The direct view of the ocean is perfect and we all loved the huge pool. The location was great with convenience stores, grocery stores and restaurants close by. We had no problems getting beach chairs and umbrellas, although we only received one umbrella and two chairs for free each day. Southern Resorts was very responsive and made checking in and out a breeze. I would definitely book this condo again.

Water's Edge #203 is a beautiful condo. There is plenty of room and the beach decor is gorgeous. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the neccessites plus more. The oceanview from the balcony is breathtaking. The beach and pool were both a very close walk. The 2 pools are huge and there were always plenty of chairs at the pool and cabanas on the beach. The location was also close to restaraunts and shopping. We would love to stay here every year. Great price for such a nice place!

Just returned from a 5 night vacation at the Water's Edge condo's in room 203. Everything was just as I had hoped. The condo was very large with 3 bedrooms and three full baths. A very large balcony with a beachfront view. The beach and the pool areas were both easily reached from the condo. The location was also convienent to resturants and grocery store. A very satisfying vacation!
