Description of the Okauchee Lake vacation cottage rental

Over the years,this family-owned 1930"s era all-season cottage has been a refuge for artists, writers, snowbirds,honeymooners,children and even some friendly pets.

The cottage has 1 1/2 bedrooms equipped with a double bed, and 2 daybeds. The cottage's deck overlooks the lake. The property and lake offer the following activities: Fall color gazing, ice-fishing,cross-country skiing,warming up at the fireplace, making S'Mores on the lakeside fire pit,family picnics,sitting on the deck,boating,swimming and fishing.

Summer ( Jun-Aug) -$900/week $3450/month

Area Information

Okauchee lake is an area surrounded by farmland and lakes.
The property is about 45 minutes from Milwaukee or Madison. The cottage is 7 minutes from the city of Oconomowoc, an hour away from SummerFest Music festival,the Milwaukee Zoo, Art museum, Harley museum and the Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Places to visit: Golden Mast Restaurant, Fox Brothers Antiques,the first kindergarten in America and The Octagon House.
