There are Two (2) apartments side by side that are fully furnished (1000 sq. ft. each) Each has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, tile throughout, laundry in both units, fenced yard (owner maintained) and brick paver driveway.
1195 faces the water and has DIRECT access to the rear deck from the sliding glass doors in each bedroom. And sleeps 7.
1193 faces the land and has INDIRECT access to the rear deck via the stairs by the seawall, And sleeps 6, Handicapped accessible.

All rentals include basic cable, and water and electric utilities.

Cancellations: a full refund will be given for all cancellations with a 30+ day notice, a 50% refund will be given for all cancellations 15 - 30 days notice and no refund will be given for less than a 14 day notice. We have stayed in the house twice 2011 and now 2012. It is great accommadations. The house is very clean and in a quite area. We will be back year after year. You are close to everything when you stay in Buckhead Ridge. We love the house. You can catch fish right behind the house in the canal. I have stayed in several places in Okeechobee but by far this house is the best. If you like to fish Okeechobee Fishing headquarters is close by and you will have the time of your life if you hire Buck for a fishing trip. We caught 205 Bass in three days a 6 pounder a 7 3/4 and 8 pounder and the largest was 9 3/4 pound. It don't get much better than this.

This property was great. We stayed in unit 1193, the front unit. It is one of the nicest houses on 9th St in Buckhead Ridge. We loved the location. We fished Lake O out of Indian Prairie, Okee-Tantie and the levy boat ramp at the intersection of Hwy 441 and Hwy 78. It was very centrally located. The interior is all tile and very new and clean. Thank you Carol for a wonderful place to spend the month of February.

GREAT PLACE TO SPEND 3 MONTHS! Since we are a couple that enjoys the outdoors, the deck was wonderful. Great for grilling, fishing, or just relaxing. The duplex is located on a quiet street and has some very nice neighbors. Joel is very easy to deal with.

The place is a GREAT place and is very well taken care of. We have a very good time every time we stay. The owners are very nice and very easy to rent from. I had a blast catching more fish from the dock then my buddy Casey. Ha

2 of us came down from Alabama to fish a Bass tournamnet. We had some issues on another place to stay. I found this place on the internet and am I glad I did. This place is excellent. It is almost brand new. It sits on a quiet street. No problems with security, It was very clean. The pics on here that you see do not do it justice. We will no doubt use this place again if we go to Okeechobee and it is availiable. The owners are very easy people to work with.

We had an unbelieveable stay!!! Carol and Joel were are pleasure to deal with. The place was beautiful and clean, the deck over the water was a great place to fish or cook on the grill. I will definately be back next year
