Description of the Old Forge vacation home rental

Sitting on Lawrence Point, Fourth Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains is Adirondack Winslows'. These are 3 private homes and are rented by the Season or Weekly in Winter. Weekly in Summer, and Weekends or Weekely Spring and Fall.

These homes are on the lakes edge with the beautiful mountains surrounding them. Two are lakeside and one is on the hill overlooking the lake. All are waiting your arrival to relax and rejuvinate in the beautiful Adirondacks.

The largest home, Camp Lawrence, is not open during the Winter Season for rental.

Lawrence Point is situated 7.5 miles from the Village of Old Forge and approximately 2 miles from the hamlet of Eagle Bay on the North Shore of Fourth Lake of the Fulton Chain of Lakes. The Lakes are part of the Moose River that Flows from 8th Lake down to the Black and Beaver Rivers.

There are beautiful Mountains surrounding the property, we are right on the Main Snowmobile trail that is used off season for hiking, biking and walking. With our close proximity to Old Forge, we are only a few minutes from the famous Enchanted Forest Water Safari Park. Two Four Star Golf courses, great museums and libraries, the Old Forge Art Center andOld Forge Lake Cruises. A short drive to Blue Mountain Art Center and the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain, Raquette Lake' s W W Durant Dine and Cruise Boat,and Great Camp Sagamore. This is just to name a few of the great points of interest in the area.

We are located in an area where there are many great restaurants. You can eat every meal out. We suggest you try the Steak House in Old Forge, owned and operated by the Winslow Family. You just can beat the best meals in town at any of the many restaurants.

The Rivett's Marine Service, marina located on the pond in Old Forge NY is also operated by the family owned by Diane Winslow and Chris Gaige. They rent all types of boats and party barges for your boating pleasure. Visit the Old Forge link to see their site so as to reserve your boat for your vacation.

There are 2 playgrounds close by one in Inlet and 2 in Old Forge, 2 public beaches Old Forge and Inlet and 2 great golf cources. If you like hiking pack a lunch and go up the driveway to the main trail that connects you to the miles of sites along the north shore of Rt. 28, Bald Mountain, Black Bear Mountain, Bub * Sis Lakes and Moss Lake. Then a short drive in any direction can take you into state lands for more hikes into favorite getaways.

Most All hobbies and sports are addressed in the area. Private guides are a call away at Friskey Otter and Adirondack Exposure. The have sites that can be seen on the Inlet and Old Forge web links.
