Description of the Old Orchard Beach vacation villa rental
Step out of your home directly onto the white sand. Two decks to enjoy the spectacular view! Downtown Old Orchard is a little over a half mile away. New carpeting (2008) and energy efficient Anderson windows (2007). Two parking spots (one inside, one outside.) Gas heat a plus!!!
The house has a traditional beach home feel with cedar shingles outside and many large windows to let in the cool summer breeze and sunshine. Location is on a corner lot with a 2-car driveway for off-street parking. The community placement is ideal for walking--10 minutes to schools and playgrounds, 3 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to the pier and amusement park--and for driving--5 minutes to I-95, 20 minutes to Portland, 2 hrs to Boston. Built in 2000, this house surprises you with its size totaling 1836 sq ft. with 5 total rooms including large, finished attic. Enter through large mudroom, great for keeping the rest of the house clean. Downstairs has a large living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bath. Another great feature is the large utility room with washer and dryer and plenty of room for storage. The kitchen is newly remodeled with beautiful cabinets and tile backsplash. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and full bath. A recent addition, completed in 2006, added the 3rd bedroom and large upstairs bathroom with 2-person Jacuzzi tub completing the master bedroom suite. You get to the 3rd floor using a quaint, spiral staircase to find a large attic split into 2 rooms. We use one as a playroom, the other as an office, but there are many possibilities for the space. Like most homes in OOB, this house has a small yard which makes for easy upkeep, yet gives enough room for outside activities and visiting with friends. There is also a storage shed on the lot within the fence. This house is definitely worth a look if you are interested in beach community property. It is also very well maintain hoem to comparable homes in the area. Come have a look!
