Description of the Old San Juan vacation apartment rental

In the same building as the Gallery Apartment, the Garden Apartment is an easy 2nd floor walk up in a meticulously restored, secure, historic building.
Enjoy the many attractions of Old San Juan without the problems of access and parking, from your own apartment in the heart of the gallery/shopping district: bustling during the day, and quiet at night, and no trudging up the hill at the end of your day.

Weekly maid service & free local calls are included. The English language newspaper is delivered daily.
Our guests appreciate that they are not "abandoned" as the employees downstairs can provide concierge services.

The apartment is large, and in the rear of the building, built around a tropical open air interior garden. There are seurity poles high above so no one can "drop in".
The livingroom is lush with it's own plants and ceiling fan. Smoking is permitted in this room, as it is completely open air.

There is free high speed wireless internet access throughout the apartment.

There are 2 completely private, separate bedrooms, each with it's own large closet & full bath.
The smaller bedroom has a Queen size bed, AC & ceiling fan, also a mini fridge and coffee maker, satelite TV & desk.

This room can rent separately as the "STUDIO" to a single or couple for $85 p/nt.

The larger bedroom has a full size bed and a trundle bed which glides out to be 2 singles. Also AC, ceiling fan, portable phone with free local calls & it's own satelite TV, large closet, and a large desk with louvered window to the garden.

The door between the bedrooms can be opened to form a large suite.

For larger groups, you can rent the floor through: the Gallery, and the Garden apartment.

You are on the best and safest block in Old San Juan, down the hill, right in the middle of the finest shops, galleries and restaurants.
You are surrounded by historic monuments: one block north of the Cristo Chapel, Pigeon Park, the Governors Mansion, 1 block West of Plaza de Armas, where you'll find cafes, grocer and drug stores as well as a trolly stop and taxi stand. You are 2 blocks South of the El Convento Hotel and the Puerta de San Juan, the ancient gateway to the city. Here you enter the middle of the "Paseo": a beautiful mile long walkway along the bay that stretches from the ancient cemetery to the cruise ship docks. This is a great morning jog or walk.

Legendary nightlife is 4 blocks away: "SoFo" restaurant district to the east, and San Sebastian St. for clubs & bars to the North (up the hill).

If you plan to stay in Old San Juan, you won't need a car. If you will have a car anyway, you can usually find free on-street parking nearby, but it's a bit of a hunt. If you prefer, there are several inexpensive parking lots within a few blocks.

• Other Fees: Please note the listed prices are for a 2 singles, or 2 couples using both bedrooms and the complete apartment. For 3 beds, the rate is $225 p/night or $1100 p/wk For 4 beds, the rate is $250 p/night or $1200 p/wk For more than 6 persons, we rent only 1 week minimun, and the rate is $1400, and you will be using an extra bed in the livingroom, and the couch.This way you can have 2 couples & 4 singles.
