Description of the Old Town vacation home rental

Welcome to Wolf River Den located on the beautiful, world famous, historic, romantic Suwannee River in Old Town, FL.
The house sleeps 6 comfortably, master bedroom with a
king size bed,a queen sleeper sofa in the living room
and a loft that will sleep 1-2. The house has a full bath downstairs with a half bath upstairs. The ceilings in the living room are valuated with original Florida Pine, large windows make for a beautiful view. The kitchen has a dishwasher as well as all the appliances of a home. A gas grill is provided for grilling your latest catch or that steak you've been wanting, how about surf and turf? Dock your boat in front of the house, boat ramp is within walking distance. All the amenities of home are included even linens and bath towels. The house has a family atmosphere, built by the owners and finshed in 2009! It has everything you need to make your vacation complete. A full porch with chairs to lounge, watch the river go by, read a book or enjoy happy hour. It's always Happy Hour on the river! We look forward to having you enjoy our Wolf River Den for a weekend, a week or a month's vacation.

Area Information

Fanning Springs State Park and Manatee State Park equal
direction by boat. Snorkel or swim the many springs
located on the river. Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers near by. Gulf of Mexico 18 miles. Local shopping available.
Bike the Greenway Trail.

Suwannee Town is approximatley 18 miles from Wolf River Den. Fish the gulf waters or enjoy snorkeling for scallops July, Aug and part of Sept. Old Town has a sport bar that offers a variety of food and cocktails. Annual events include watermellon festival May/June, arts and craft shows throughout the year. The annual Suwannee River Boat Parade on the water in December is the best in the area! Come, enjoy and relax on the porch.

Second Honeymoon on the river before bowl Game

We had a wonderful trip. It was a perfect place for a quiet trip alone with the hubby. The best part was Rody added ESPN so that we could watch the Clemson Vs LSU game on New Year!s Eve. Highly recommend stopping by Charlie's. thanks for letting us visit your home.

Two friends and I recently enjoyed our 4 day 3 night stay at Wolf River Den on the Suwanee River in Old Town. It is nestled among some beautiful trees right on the Suwanee and has many amenities that make for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. One can rest and enjoy the serenity in a beautifully built home. One can cook or not and just do anything that makes you happy. We had an awesome vacation there and would definitely go again. Thanks, Mr. & Mrs. Wolf for making this wonderful home available to us. I hope many more will take advantage of this vacation home that is neither too close nor too far from anything else one might want to do. :o)
