Description of the Olympia vacation home rental

Who's decision was it to call this part of the state "Volcano Country"' I suppose if you looked at a "world map", it might be close to volcano country. When St Helens blew, I guess you could see the plume, but that could be said if you were in North Dakota at the time too!

Our homes are located right on the shores of Puget Sound on a little body of water by the name of Totten Inlet. Totten Inlet is famous for being the best Oyster growing water in the world. We are located just 20 minutes north of Olympia WA.

We have 2 houses. The "Studio" rents for $125.00 per night and the 1 bedroom "large House" rents for $150.00 per night in the winter months and $175.00 starting March 16th.
In winter and fall the cabins provide a cozy place to rest, relax, snuggle by the fire with a good book, watch a movie, stroll secluded beaches, and take in the spectacular views. A scenic one hour drive takes you to the South entrance of the Olympic National Park and its snow capped peaks. Having Olympia nearby offers nice shops, great restaurants, and all the entertainment and conveniences of a little city.

In summer and spring you enjoy your own private sandy beach. Walk the beach, dig for clams and oysters, fish for king salmon from the nearby bridge to Steamboat Island. Rest, relax and enjoy the views from the Adirondack chairs on the high bank's edge overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympics.

All year round, indulge in the outdoor private hot tub, enjoy the view, and the romance of Bluff House.

South Puget Sound boasts some of the best in outdoor activities from Kayaking to Hiking. You're about an hour and a half from Crystal Mountain Ski Area, which is one of the top spots in Washington for serious downhill skiers and Snow Boarders.

What an amazing place. So much privacy on a beautiful piece of land overlooking puget sound. Wow when the clouds go away the view of the most amazing snow capped mountains..Comfy home with everything you need to feel cozy..Great time great local people!!!!! Hope to return soon

The cabin was a delightful find for our weekend get away. A little difficult to find at night but overall an easy retreat to get lost in on a very grey weekend. The stair climber was awesome and the beach walk so very calming. To have this piece of refuge so close to home is amazing. Do go and relax. You are so worth it!

We stayed in the "little house" and it was so much more than we expected. Every detail had been thought of from the plates and towels to the corkscrew. The hot tub was amazing, one step from the front door! All of the tile work was beautifully installed and it was very clean and "fresh" feeling inside. I would recommend this place in heartbeat!

I found this property to be in a secluded neighborhood with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. The hot tub was clean as the main house and grounds. The location was a good compromise between Seattle, Ranier, and Mt. St. Helene's. The owner is very considerate of his property and willing to please. Thank you.
