Description of the Oneonta vacation home rental
Artist-style, all Natural Home plus Jeep to be rented for 300/week + utilities only over these winter hollidays to one family or one couple. Celebrate in our artsy and musical but cosy home and enjoy the countryside around you. You might even get to sled in our yard! Ideal for vegetarians, vegans or raw vegans. Kitchen is equipped with Vitamix, Dehydrator, Food-processor, Juicer and most everything else. You may bring your cat(s) and small dog(s). Our own 2 cats (barn cats) will stay. Dates available are: December 16, 2008 through January 6, 2009. Please email for more details.
Area Description
New Berlin is a quaint village in the Western hills of the Catskill mountains. Our house is just outside but walking distance to the village. This is an area of fields, forests, rivers and lakes, hiking trails, wild-life reserves (Roger's Environmental Education Center) and organic farms you can visit. There are many other quaint villages such as Hamilton (Colgate University) Norwich, Oneonta, Gilbertville and others where fine dining, concerts, holiday events, shows and moview are offered for cultural diversion.
We are about 3 1/2 hours to the North-West of New York City and 2 hours West of Albany, 3/4 hour South uf Utica and 1 1/2 East of Ithaca.
We can connect you to artist and Waldorf-style events and households once we have made contact.
Our own land and firtree forest offer wildlife observation, roaming and exploring for all ages.
