Description of the Onset vacation cottage rental

Quaint and charming cottage with views of Broad Cove. Steps from the beach, five minute-walk to town. Wonderful for families. Screened front porch for reading, relaxing, and watching the boats go by.

Antique cottage features an open floor plan with living room/dining room, washer/dryer closet, and eat-in kitchen with new appliances.

Fieldstone fireplace with gas stove insert. TV, cable, and CD/radio included. Internet connection.

Upstairs: three bedrooms and one bathroom. Master with queen bed and cove view, second bedroom with two twins, and small third bedroom with one twin.

Back deck with charcoal grill overlooking private backyard. Perennial beds. Off-street parking for up to three cars.

Onset is a treasure. Discover the gentle waters and sugar-sand beaches of a hidden Victorian gem.

House overlooks Broad Cove on the east side of Onset peninsula. The beach is steps away. Town center with restaurants and shops, five minutes walking.

Bluffs ring the beaches and a bandstand sits atop Prospect Park overlooking the bay. Canal cruises from the town pier, outdoor movies, and many daytrip possibilities.

We have so much loved our stay at this wonderful cottage, appreciating the tasteful decoration down to the last detail, the nearby beach and the relaxed atmosphere. - Extremely nice and thoughtful hosts - we highly recommend the cottage and would so much love to come back soon(from Germany)!

This is the vacation home I hope to have someday. It felt so much like my home with everything from books for children and adults, magazines, games every kitchen item needed and so much more. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and with a great view too! We took walks to town, the beach and playground everyday. Great coffee shop and italian food (they deliver) right around the corner in town. Oudoor movies and concerts in the park during the week were an added bonus. We hope to return someday.
