Description of the Onset vacation cottage rental

Don't waste gas and your precious time in traffic waiting to get over the bridge. This cottage is located in Buzzards Bay/Onset Heights area near the scenic Cape Cod Canal. Just one town away from both Cape bridges for easy access to all Cape Cod has to offer.

This 2-bedroom cottage sleeps 6 (2 twins,1 full, 1 queen pull-out couch). Fully furnished with washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV/DVD, and cable. Screened-in porch to catch the warm summer breeze. OFF Street Parking.

Within walking distance of sandy beaches, golf courses, kayaking, biking, fishing, ferries, shopping and restaurants, Bay Point Country Club and The Spa at Point Independence! Go-carts, miniature golf, and water park a few minutes drive. Or walk along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal!

Area Information

Located in Nanumett Heights area of Onset. A small private beach which is perfect for children is located nearby. Onset Beach is larger and just a short walk.

The house is located on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. There is a yard with a hedge and private parking.

Warm and welcoming home

August 19, 2012

This home is located near Onset beach and close to everything. It is fully furnished and everything there; no need to bring all kitchen stuff, cleaning etc. I brought too much from home. The landlady Diane was very happy to answer my questions. We had a wonderful time.

Cute cottage

Very cute cottage with many amenities: ceiling fans, dishwasher/ laundry/ microwave with full kitchen. Beautiful screened in front porch with wicker furniture. Just minutes walk from town and main beach. I know Onset well as I spent many summers there as a child. Love Marc Anthony's pizza place. There was live music and evening movies for the kids at the band shell. Had a great time even in 95 degree (unusual) heat and thunderstorms one night. Thanks for allowing us to stay there.

Had a great couples weekend at this nice, cozy house. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and is close to Onset village. It was our first time on the Cape and we had a great time. The owner Diane was very friendly and accommodating.

We went to the place for the long weekend and really enjoyed ourself. There is a beautiful small beach 5 min away from the place. The cottage is beautiful and the owner has very thoughtful stocked up the place. Thanks to Diane , we had a very relaxing and a joyous weekend

My friends and I stayed for the week. We had a great time kayaking on the bay. I did some fishing. Missed a striper but caught a 7lb 11oz blue! It was walkable to the beaches for sunning. Also walkable to a few fun pubs in the lil town. At night we had a fun time playing games on the screened in porch. The house was very cozy and comfortable.

This place is awesome, I spent one week in Onset and had a ball. The house has all the charm of a the Cape. It is a 5 minute walk to the private beach at the end of the road. We walked in Onset village and had breakfast everymorning, the view of the bay is breathtaking. I look forward to another wonderful vacation there next year... thank you sharing your special place with us!

Excellent location for cape activities

My family and I stayed at this cottage for a week in July. It was a cute cottage at a great price. We had the option of walking to 3 different beaches, depending on how far you wanted to walk. My husband golfed right down the street at Baypoint Country Club. The kids loved the warm water and exploring on the beach.
