Nice home port for our Cape Cod Vacation

A nice, well maintained house right on Onset inlet. Three bedrooms, large master bedroom and kitchen area. Porch on both floors make for a nice venue to watch the sunset. Easy walk into town for dinner. Several golf courses, restaurants and attactions nearby.

Our family wanted to venture north on vacation for a change and found this beautiful home on-line located in Onset, Ma. Upon arriving we found all the emmenities and comforts as described by the owner on the internet. Helpful hints from the owner guided us on where to go and visit. The house was spacious with an open kitchen floorplan. The 3 separate bedrooms and full baths allowed for even more comfort and privacy. But the best was sitting on the balcony late in the day with a cocktail watching night fall. The quaint town of Onset added to the relaxed atmosphere. Good food, local activities, and daily excursions, e.g., playing golf, whale watching, renting kayaks, boat trips, and just laying on the beach were exactly what the doctor ordered. We hope to return in the near future.

Absolutely Beautiful, Relaxing and Fun Experience

My family and I enjoyed our vacation so very much because of this beautiful home. The views from the top and bottom decks overlooking the water were wonderful. After a fun day at the beach we would sit on the top deck and watch the most breathtaking sunsets. The kitchen/dining area was so elegant and state of the art. There was never any problem with anyone wanting to get in the shower with the three full bathrooms. The master bedroom was so spacious. It was awesome. I just loved sitting on the front porch reading my book and taking in the sites. The kids were able to walk downtown which only took a few minutes. They absolutely loved the famous Marc Anthony's Pizza and Nana's candy store. The beaches were awesome too. We either went to the beach directly in front of the house or around the corner to the main beach. Whoever stays here will definitely not be disappointed!

Everything went great! The sunrises and especially the sunsets were incredible!! A must stay for sure, owner has excellent recommendations for eateries and things to do!! I would recommend to anyone!

This house was absolutely incredible. The view from top deck was fabulous. My husband I would sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets every night. It was magical. The house itself was elegant. It was more that we imagined. It was so immaculate and spacious. The kitchen and dining area were especially fantastic. The walk to the beaches were so easy. We went to both the front and back beaches. The atmosphere in the neighborhood was so calming and friendly. Our kids were able to walk to the center of town to Nana's for candy and ice cream and to Marc Anthony's for the best pizza and Italian food! The Band Shell was also very entertaining. We went to the Blues Festival and the kids went to Movie night. There was always something to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Onset and can't wait to do it again next year!

We spent the week with our two very small children. The house was spacious and well equipped for adults and families alike. It had a great front veranda where we enjoyed the sunset. The beach was beautiful, steps away and very quiet during our stay (September). Easy access to the Cape for day-trips and the village of Onset was a nice stroll away and had several shops and restaurants. We had a great time!

We found this house to be as it was advertised - spacious, modern, clean, easy to find, and close to many places of interest. With young children, the bay-side beach is non-threatening. But beaches with more surf are an easy drive. The big porch is a great place to watch the sunsets. The owner was easy to deal with and prompt in responding to any questions we had. Neighbors were friendly and it was fun to sit on the porch & say 'hi' to folks as they walked by. Lovely neighborhood to take a walk through. We would stay here again if we vacationed in the Cape Cod area again.

Perfect- house was exactly as advertised, beautiful and situated close to everything. Bathrooms new and clean with a The owner was wonderful and was available to make sure everything was perfect. Even the neighbors were great and the sunsets were awesome. Quiet and peaceful street, alowing for easy access to beach and perfect swim area for the family. In summary, we couldn't recommend this house and owner more highly.

Looking up from the beach, this charming summer home is overlooking Onset Bay. It has a touch of Victorian architecture with a long porch and long balcony, from which the vistas across Onset Bay are seen most gloriously from the balcony outside the master bedroom. The beach itself is a paradise for children who can find a variety of shells at low tide clam, and the sand is loaded with the minerals feldspar and quartz. Along the beach one can find a very large granite boulder from the Ice Age produced when the glacier melted some 10,000 years ago. My grandchildren and I had a great time clamming, only a few minutes from #78. I got a shell-fishing permit from the Wareham Town Hall and it cost only $30 for two weeks, the length of our stay. Inside this home, we found a large pot in the gourmet kitchen, and my son made our family a sumptuous steam-clam (“steamers”) dinner that we enjoyed on the large dining room table, where we also played cards and various games well into the evening. As a treat for the children, the first few days they had homemade ice-cream sundaes (hot fudge, butterscotch, strawberry, my favorite). One night we went to Marc Anthony’s, just 6-7 minutes away by foot, where we enjoyed their delicious pizzas and spaghetti with extra cheese. Afterwards, we went for ice cream a few doors up the street. All in all, this was a very memorable vacation and everyone would like to come back again. The owner was very gracious, the town’s people

My family had a wonderful vacation here. The house is great. Super quiet neighborhood. Beach is very peaceful and my son and nephew (8 yr olds)had a great time finding crabs and fishes. Easy walk into town for a great breakfast place. The sunset view is amazing and it's an easy ride to other places on the Cape. We had a lot of fun here.

The pictures of the house were beautiful, so I figured I'd take a chance and hope we'd get something close to what was advertised.... I was amazed!!! The house was so much more then what the pictures showed. The house was clean, beautiful and most importantly accomodating and safe for a family with children. The beach was literally inches away from the front steps and the beach could keep a family busy all week with its hermit crabs, snails, fishing, building sand castles etc. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, ideal for peace and quiet! I can not urge a family enough to rent this house! My family will be back year after year! Also, the landlord was hassle free... immediately returned my deposit!

The house was clean and setup very comfortably for our needs. The location was excellent, off the beaten path but close to everything. The kids loved the beach across the street and grandma loved the porch. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us and the views were gorgeous.

We loved our stay at this spotless, airy and beautiful home. The location could not be better! We brought 6 kids and had a wonderful family vacation. There's lots to do within a few minutes drive: biking, boating, whale watching, water park...but you can just stay put and enjoy the lovely beach right across from the house! We loved our stay and I HIGHLY recommend it . The owner is a pleasure to deal with as well. Enjoy!

It was such a gorgeous home and the views were fantastic. I loved the child friendly beach......and the sealife was so much fun for the children. I have never seen so many clams and crabs. It really is right on the beach who could ask for more!!!!
