Description of the Onset vacation home rental

This renovated two bedroom bungalow-style home is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood near Butlers (Peter's) Cove on a large lot and includes a garage and a new outside shower. We are minutes from the Cape, without bridge traffic, 15 minutes to Mashpee Commons, and 15 minutes to the Middleboro Commuter Rail station. A bike ride to Onset Beach and five minutes to Bourne, Buzzards Bay and a great antiques area by Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Bay Pointe Golf Course is less than one mile away. Buzzards Bay access for kayaking is across the street.

This home is immaculate, has a large freshly painted living room, refinished living room floor, small office/wireless, rear patio, two bedrooms, plenty of parking, and has all appliances - including a washer and dryer in its full basement. Simple accommodations in a great area. No smoking.

Area Information

Onset Village provides fun family activities such as free outdoor movies, blues festivals, plays, fireworks, Cape Cod Canal cruises, deep sea fishing, whale watching. Kayaking and rentals, beach and golf are nearby. Shopping at local antiquing center, outlets and general retail available and several great restaurants are nearby. Local activities include a water slide, bowling, batting cage and miniature golf. Historic Plymouth Rock is just 20 miles away on the other side of the Sagamore Bridge along with the amazing Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower. Fifteen minutes from the Middleboro Commuter Rail.

Wonderful place to stay!

March 21, 2013

I stayed in this Onset cottage with my three sisters. We had plenty of room for sleeping. The cottage is located near town and the beach. We ate at wonderful restaurants and took day trips to neighboring towns. Great shopping nearby.
