Area Description

Orasac is picturesque, historical village with beautiful Mediterranean climate, situated a few minutes drive from Dubrovnik. The houses in the village centre are built close together since people in the past thought this would protect them from pirates! There are many chapels and churches (dating back to 13th century) and the famous Soderini castle with a restaurant. Numerous paths and roads in and around Orasac are good for cycling, jogging or pleasant walks. Nice pebble beaches will surprise you with clear blue sea and authentic vegetation. For gastronomy delight there is a well known restaurant "Hawaii". Its location, on the beach makes it a perfect place for parties or romantic evenings. Everything you may need (doctor, small shops, bars, tourist office, rental boat, bus station) is close by.
