Description of the Orient Point vacation home rental

Enjoy gorgeous water views of Gardiner 's Bay from this immaculate Victorian home situated on 1 acre. This spacious and beautifully decorated home comfortably accommodates 8 adults.

On the first level it boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a Master suite with Jacuzzi tub. The upper level includes a large, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, separate formal dining room with seating for eight, a quaint sitting room with telescope for star gazing, and a great room complete with fireplace and panoramic views of the bay from every window.

Step out to an oversized deck (complete with furniture & grill) from the kitchen or living room that overlooks the pool, bay, and manicured grounds that border the Suffolk County Nature Preserve.

Enjoy a game of Volleyball/Badminton, Horseshoes, cool off in the pool; relax in our 7 person hot tub, or bird-watch from our gazebo.

This is the perfect location for a relaxing family getaway. It 's a great opportunity to enjoy the North Fork 's beaches, award winning vineyards, world renowned fishing charters, pristine golf courses, Zagat rated restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, and many other attractions including SPLISH SPLASH water park. Hop on a ferry to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods Casinos. Just a short walk to the dock!

You will find numerous Wineries with vineyard tours and tasting. Short drive to Golf course, tennis courts, kayaking, ferry to Shelter Island. Great local restaurants. Tanger Factory Outlets 30 minute drive. Splish Splash in Riverhead.

Enjoy the seven person hot tub, jacuzzi bathtub, two zone central air conditioning, bicycles, fenced in in-ground pool (4ft - 8 ft deep). IPOD Docking Station.

An ideal vacation house for a wonderful vacation. House is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable to live in with beautiful views from the many windows. We just loved living there, walking through the woods to the beach, and jogging to the other beach. The owners are lovely and answered all our questions as we were from California and didnt know the area at all. Exceeded all expectations.

We live in the UK, and finding a holiday home in the USA is not as easy as you think ! From the intial enquiry I found the owners, Bea & Dan, to be friendly and very helpful. We were in regular contact with each other,and they were kind enough to meet us at the house upon our arrival.The house was more than we expected ! It was so clean and of a very high standard! There was every item we needed and more ! We particularly enjoyed the pool and the shady decking in the hot afternoons. We travelled with a family from Connecticut, who I know are keen to return to the house maybe during the Winter ! We will definitely be returning to Long Island !

 

 Relaxation and family fun in Orient Point, July 15, 2008

We had a great time staying in your lovely Orient Point home. The house was very clean and comfortable. We spent our time bicycling, swimming in the pool, going to the nearby beach, fishing, playing ball and enjoying the jacuzzi! The trip centered around a family get together and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Orient Point is a beautiful place, both scenic and relaxing. The town of Greenport was great to visit as well, and had lots to offer. We spent a day at Splish Splash water park which was not too far away and the kids absolutely loved it (so did the adults). We enjoyed the beautiful nature trails and seeing so many bunnies! With the planning of our trip and the questions I had, I must say that the owners were extremely pleasant to deal with. You know you had a great time when the week just flew by so fast (they say time flies when your having fun). Wish we could have stayed longer, and we look forward to staying there again. Many thanks for the good times!
