with an uninterrupted view over wood and
vineyards. Polignac is a quiet village near to
main roads and touristic centers but situated in
the heart of green, undulating countryside.
Area Description
Our region is steeped in history and there is much to see and do. There are castles, trails for visits to romanesque churches, museum. The little roads, off the beaten track, are ideal for getting better acquainted with the villages and landscapes that are perhaps little known but charming and varied nonetheless. Visit the cognac and Bordeaux vineyards, towns like Royan, La Rochelle, Isles, Rochefort, Angoulême, Saintes, Saint-Emilion ...Saint-Emilion and the vineyards, Trails for the famous Bordeaux wines.
