Amazing Vacation thanks to Vacation Home Rentals

My family and I were planning our vacation for a year and at the last minute the home we originally booked and paid for became suddenly unavailable. Thanks to Vacation Home Rentals they were able to get us a home at the last minute over the most busiest time of the year. They sent us pictures of the home and we all thought the home looked amazing. No it wasn't in the area we were first staying but when we arrived who cared, the home was absolutely beautiful, even more than the pictures we viewed. There was more than enough room for all of us, and in the end the location did not matter. The days we were not going out to amusement parks and other attractions, everyone enjoyed staying in, swimming in the very nice size heated pool, watching movies together in the family room and cooking in the very well equipped and nice size kitchen. Ever thing we needed was right there at our finger tips, even when I baked goodies for everyone the right size pans were there. We felt very safe staying there as well, the home had an alarm system and there was neighborhood watch. The other ideal thing about the location of the home was that stores/pharmacies such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and Target were very close. There was also Publix grocery, and other eating places very close by, pizza place right at the entrance which stayed open Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve. When we were informed six days before we were to leave on our vacation that the home we had paid for would no longer be available we panicked, we were travelling internationally, tickets had been paid for, but most of all I didn't want to have to tell my family, especially the children that the Disney Vacation we had been planning and looking forward to may have to be cancelled, the other vacation home we booked with was working very hard to find us a new place but everything was booked and no one had a home for the entire stay we were going to be there. Thank you Vacation Home Rentals for coming through for my family and I. We stayed in an amazing home, clean, well kept, beautifully decorated, just amazing and had an awesome vacation as some of my family have so described it. We are talking about coming again this year and if we do or when we do again we would love to stay again at this lovely home. Thank You

Very pleasant stay

We were a party of 10 and enjoyed very much our stay in the house which included 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, 1 small swimmingpool, kitchen, living and dinning room + 1 garage for 2 cars and a laundry. There were enough linen, pillows and towels but what was totally missing: cleaning products for daily use such as: detergent for dishwasher, restroom, bathroom, kitchen, not a single cleaning detergent in the full house!! Watch out to check out time as different from the one on the door and the one in the kitchen's folder. Cleaners waiting in their cars for our departure! On arrival day, impossible to get in the house and noone responded to the 24h helpline number. Finally a neighbour helped us to get in the house. It was also a pain to hear the alarm bell each time someone wanted to go to the pool or on pool's deck. Nevertheless, the house was very clean and 25min drive only from major Orlando's attraction parks, main Outlets and airport.

This home was as aesthetically pleasing as it was comfortable. We were immediately "wowwed" upon entering the front door after a long drive. We will be eternally grateful for all that the home added to our time in Florida. I can't believe that we were fortunate enough to be able to get such a steal while having to do some last minute planning. Should the need arise, we will definately look to stay there again.

POOR Housekeeping

House not clean. MANY MAny insects!! Air conditioner preset and guests not allowed to adjust. A notice in the house said tenants would be charged for calls/visits from management company. We have stayed in several other villas in this area over the past several years and this one was definitely the lowest standard yet. Insects and bugs EVERYWHERE and some were very large. Dishwasher did not work properly either.
