Description of the Ormond Beach vacation condo rental

ONLY EXTRA IS a DAMAGE DEPOSIT. NO HIGHER RATE ON RACE Week! No road to cross to the beach. If you want on the beach and not having to cross the busy A1A state road every time you want to go to the beach, then ask first because some condos advertise as having a direct ocean view but the buildings are separated by the State Road A1A. Our building is directly located on the beach in one of the nicest beach locations in Ormond by the Sea, near many conveniences such as discount stores, restaurants, gas stations, banks etc... There are no twin beds or pull-out couches in our condo, only queen size and king size beds. There is a whirlpool bath tub in the master bathroom.

The one-time $280.00 damage security deposit, which is the only additional cost to the rental price posted here,is refundable if you don't smoke in the apartment and if there are no damages to the apartment or its content, and all the keys and other items we give you are returned undamaged at check-out time, etc...

OUR MAIN CONCERN IS THAT YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF THIS CONDO DURING YOUR STAY, COMPLY WITH THE RENTAL POLICIES, AND DON'T SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT

ADVERTISED RATE IS FOR UP TO 4 OCCUPANTS. Extra persons will pay additional. Maximum occupancy at any given time, including visitors and renters is 5 people.

Enjoy ocean views from the private balcony & from each bedroom. We are very picky when it comes to cleanliness. This is a 3rd floor condo located on the North side of the building. If you prefer a family or senior-friendly environment but still want to be close to the action of Daytona Beach and within approximately 1 hour or less from major Florida attractions, then this private and spacious apartment with reasonable rates, would be a good choice.

Uncrowded car-free beach. Building amenities include: On-site management office; his and hers sauna room, exercise room, game room, social room, elevator on each floor. Non-heated ocean-front swimming pool plus a sun deck. Privately assigned underground garage parking space for one car with security gate. Security cameras in the building common areas. There is a coin laundry on each floor of the building. WiFi connection is available at the building's lobby area. Basic cable, electricity, water and local phone calls are included for rentals of less than 6 months.

Near small shopping center, restaurants, bank, and gas stations. Approximately 6-minute drive to the Daytona Beach boundaries. One to a little over an hour drive to Walt Disney World. The oldest Florida town of
St. Augustine is about 45-50 minute drive, as well as the Kennedy Space Center. The Chocolate Factory, the Daytona Speed Way and Daytona Airport are about 15-20 minute drive. Driving distances are approximate depending on driving conditions.

PARTIAL RENTAL TERMS:

MINIMUM RENTAL: 2 months. No prorating or refunds for days that are not used (later arrival or early departure)

Refunding of the $280 security deposit: This amount will be used as a rental-terms compliance security deposit and will be refunded 15 business weekdays after renter's departure if when we clean the apartment, after the renter's departure, we find there are no damages to the apartment or its content, no missing items, no excessive laundry or cleaning needed(ie.excessive dirty towels/stained bedding/furniture cushions etc., if there are no indications that cigarette/tobacco product smoking took place in the unit, and all keys, parking permit decals, and parking garage gate opener are returned undamaged on renter's departure date.

SMOKING is not allowed in this unit. NO PETS/ANIMALS.
BOATS, TRAILERS, CAMPERS AND COMMERCIAL-SIZE VEHICLES AREN'T ALLOWED TO PARK ON PREMISES.

SPECIAL EVENT & HOLIDAY RATES: Rates won't increase during special event days during your 2+ months stay.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY RATE: Monthly rate listed here is for up to 4 occupants at any given time. Maximum number of people allowed in the condo is 5 people, including children. Apartment occupants and their visitors must be pre-registered on rental contract.

Renter must be of an adult age according to Florida statues in order to rent apartment.

Apartment amenities, and local area attractions may change and are not warranted. Pictures shown are an approximate representation of the rental unit and its content and might change. Rental rate and terms may change at any time.

PAYMENT Accepted: All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars. Accepted payments are: U.S. Bank-Certified check, money order, cashier's check. Post-marked checks won't be accepted. There is a charge of $39.00 for each check if the checks have non-sufficient funds.

Initial Payment Required to Reserve Unit: 50% of the total rental amount to include the $280.00 damage security deposit amount. Reservation won't be confirmed nor the rental dates be committed until the initial payment clears the bank.

Second (Final) Payment: Remaining 50% must be paid at least 90 calendar days prior to the reserved check-in date. Renter(s) will not be allowed in the apartment until full payment is satisfactorily cleared. If second payment is not received within the specified deadline, the rental will be automatically canceled and all moneys received by the apartment owners for the rental to that date will be refunded minus $150.00

CANCELLATION REFUNDS: All cancellations requests must be received in writing at least 60 calendar days prior to reserved check-in date. All moneys received less the amount of $150.00 (dollars) will be refunded for cancellations that are received at least 60 calendar days prior to the reserved check-in date. No refunds given for cancellations received less than 60 calendar days prior to the reserved check-in date. No prorating or refunds for late arrival and/or early departure. Changes in rental days after initial reservation has been made will depend on apartment availability for the newly requested dates. Change request must be made at least 60 calendar day in advance of newly desired date. Rental date change fee is $50.00 per change request.

CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 p.m.
CHECK-OUT TIME: 12 noon.

Check-in and check-out times are fixed unless different times are arranged with the owners at least 15 calendar days in advance.

This is a meticulously clean unit in a family-oriented environment. The building is right on the beach side so we won't have to think about it twice to go to the beach since we won't have to put up with having to cross the A1A road every time we want to go to the beach. The beach is a traffic-free beach so we won't have to worry about having to watch out for cars driving on the sand which is the case in most, if not all of the Daytona beaches. The rates are reasonable. Both bedrooms have a nice size and an ocean view. Another big plus is that this building is near a small shopping center, Publix grocery store, and other discount and outlet stores. Just a short drive to Daytona Beach. Could leave early in the morning to Walt Disney World and came back the same day which saved me from having to rent hotels in Orlando. Uncrowded car-free beach. Reserved parking space in gated underground parking garage is a big plus.
