Description of the Ormond Beach vacation condo rental

NO ROAD TO CROSS TO THE BEACH! KING/QUEEN BEDS. SAME RATE ON DAYTONA 500* Whirlpool tub. Spacious. If you don't want to cross the road every time you want to go to the beach, make sure to ask, because some buildings in Ormond by the Sea and the Flagler Beach areas have a direct ocean view but the A1A State Road is between them and the beach.

OUR MAIN CONCERN IS THAT YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF THIS CONDO DURING YOUR STAY AND THAT YOU DON'T SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT.

PLEASE READ this section in its entirety to learn more about this property and some of the rental policies:

Ocean view from private balcony & from the bedrooms. Meticulously clean, spacious, 3rd floor condo located on North side of a building that is located directly on the beach side of the road, NOT across the road from the beach. If you prefer a family or senior-friendly environment but still want to be close to the action of Daytona Beach and within approximately 1 hour or less from major Florida attractions, then this private and spacious apartment with reasonable rates, would be an excellent choice.

Uncrowded car-free beach. Building amenities include: On-site management office; his and hers sauna room, exercise room, game room, social room, elevator on each floor. Non-heated ocean-front swimming pool plus a sun deck. Privately assigned underground garage parking space for one car with security gate. Security cameras in the building common areas. Coin laundry on each floor of the building. WiFi connection is available at the building's lobby area. Basic cable, electricity, water and local phone calls are included for rentals of less than 6 months.

Near small shopping center with Publix store, dollar store, clothes outlet store, restaurants, bank, and gas stations are nearby. About 8 minute drive and you'll be in Daytona Beach boundaries. Approximately one hour from Walt Disney World, depending on traffic conditions. Famous oldest town in Florida (St. Augustine) is about 45-50 minute drive as well as the Kennedy Space Center. The Chocolate Factory is about 15-20 minute drive. The Daytona Speed Way is about 15-20 minute drive. Daytona Airport is about 15-20 minute drive (all driving distances are approximate depending on driving conditions).

SOME OF OUR RENTAL TERMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Rental document required for rental of this property:

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: 2 months during Winter & Spring

SMOKING is not allowed in this unit. NO PETS/ANIMALS.
BOATS, TRAILERS, CAMPERS AND COMMERCIAL-SIZE VEHICLES AREN'T ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

SPECIAL EVENT RATES: Rates won't increase during special event days for rentals of 2 or more consecutive months.

For rentals of less than 2 consecutive months, the rates might be higher during special events days and holidays.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Rates listed here apply to a maximum occupancy of 4 people. Only people listed by name on the rental contract will be allowed to stay overnight in the apartment.

Renter's references required before rental is approved.

Renter must be of adult age according to Florida statues in order to rent apartment.

TAXES: Add 12.5% to rental rate listed here for taxes.

Building/apartment amenities and local area attractions may change and are not warranted. Pictures shown here are an approximate representation of the rental unit and its content. Rental rates and rental terms may change at any time.

PAYMENT MODE Accepted: U.S. Bank-Certified check, money order, cashier's check.

Security Deposit for Rental-Terms Compliance: $280.00

One-Time Departure Cleaning Fee per rental period: $69

Initial Payment Required to Reserve Unit: 50% of total rental, to include the security deposit, taxes and departure cleaning fee. Apartment will be reserved after the initial payment is cleared.

Second (Final) Payment: Remaining 50% of all rental rate, taxes, departure cleaning fee and security deposit. The second payment must be made at least 90 calendar days prior to reserved check-in date. Renter(s) will not be allowed in the apartment until full payment is satisfactorily cleared.

CANCELLATION REFUNDS: All cancellations requests must be received in writing at least 60 calendar days prior to reserved check-in date. All moneys received less the amount of $150.00 (dollars) will be refunded for cancellations that are received at least 60 calendar days prior to the reserved check-in date. No refunds given for cancellations received less than 60 calendar days prior to the reserved check-in date. No prorating or refunds for late arrival and/or early departure. Changes in rental days after initial reservation has been made will depend on apartment availability for the newly requested dates. Change request must be made at least 60 calendar day before the new desired arrival date.

The $280 security deposit will be used as a rental-terms compliance security deposit and will be refunded within 15 business days after renter's departure IF when we clean and inspect the condo there are no damages to the unit and/or its content, if there are no missing items, no excessive dirty towels, bedding, no excess cleaning needed and if there are no indications that cigarette/pipe smoking took place in the unit, and all keys, parking permit decals, and parking garage remote control opener are all returned undamaged at check-out time.


CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 p.m.
CHECK-OUT TIME: 12 noon.

Check-in and check-out times are fixed unless different times are arranged with the owners at least 15 calendar days in advance.

Walt Disney World, and many Central Florida attractions are approximately 50 minute to 1 1/4 hour driving time (depending on traffic conditions). Daytona Beach is just South of Ormond by the Sea.

This is a meticulously clean unit in a family-oriented environment. The building is right on the beach side so we won't have to think about it twice to go to the beach since we won't have to put up with having to cross the A1A road every time we want to go to the beach. The beach is a traffic-free beach so we won't have to worry about having to watch out for cars driving on the sand which is the case in most, if not all of the Daytona beaches. The rates are reasonable. Both bedrooms have a nice size and an ocean view. Another big plus is that this building is near a small shopping center, Publix grocery store, and other discount and outlet stores. Just a short drive to Daytona Beach. Could leave early in the morning to Walt Disney World and came back the same day which saved me from having to rent hotels in Orlando. Uncrowded car-free beach. Reserved parking space in gated underground parking garage is a big plus.
